you provides no scripture to make your point, the nonsense is what you wrote not scripture that you do not understand, it proves without a doubt you do nor understand much.

The Ten Commandments are LISTED twice in Exodus 20:1-17 and Deuteronomy 5:1-21, they are the same!

Deu 5:22“These words the LORD spoke to all your assembly, in the mountain from the midst of the fire, the cloud, and the thick darkness, with a loud voice; and He added no more. And He wrote them on two tablets of stone and gave them to me.

these ten commandments are a set ,unbreakable, perpetual, they are forever.

I gave you precise scriptures where God defining the Ten Commandments and instructing Moses to write them on the tablets and that they were the Commandments that He was going to establish the Covenant.

LOL Bet you cannot come up with a scripture where God specially refers to the ten summaries as commandments.

o have the catholics and both teach false doctrines.
t just so happens that the Calvinists have a said interpretation of he scriptures.

Why limit your hate to the Catholics and Calvinists, there are thousands of Protestants that believe differently than you. You could start a denomination called Haters of all.

Can you show where the 10 Commandments are in the New Testament?

The phrase Ten Commandments does not appear in the New Testament.
But they reference the basic Morals of the Mosaic Law....Like.....For this, “YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY, YOU SHALL NOT MURDER, YOU SHALL NOT STEAL, YOU SHALL NOT COVET,” and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, “YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.” Romans 13:9

Just the same, the 10 Commandments are in the New Testament and are included under the Law of Christ
I am sorry I was distracted by the news of the day.
No the actual Ten Commandments are never mentioned in the New Testament. Sorry I mistakenly let you call the ten summaries the Ten Commandment in earlier posts. The true Ten Commandments listed in Chapter 34 are never mentioned in the New Testament.
But some of the basic morals of the ten summaries would have to be....YOU SHALL NOT COMMIT ADULTERY, YOU SHALL NOT MURDER, YOU SHALL NOT STEAL, YOU SHALL NOT COVET,” and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this saying, “YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.”
But then the scriptures are saying that the basic morals are replaced with higher teachings......You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
If the "ten Summaries" were said to be the rule for Christianity, Christianity would be a lot different.....we would be worshipping on the Saturday Jewish Sabbath and not have pictures, paintings, videos, or television. And since a man's wife was listed with his property.....women today might still be bought and sold as property.

Sure they are. You should pay better attention!

Each individual commandment is in the New Testament as a commandment under the Law of Christ which is what New Coven ant believers live under.

Here ya go, read it and repent! :funlaugh2

10 Commandments Repeated in the New Testament

#1 - Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (Matthew 22:37)
#2 - Dear children, keep yourself from idols (1 John 5:21)
#3 - Do not swear – not by heaven or by earth or by anything else (James 5:12)
#4 - No Saturday sabbath commanded in the New Testament (sorry bout that SDA peoples!)
#5 - Honor your father and mother (Matthew 19:16-21)
#6 - You shall not murder (Matthew 19:16-21)
#7 - You shall not commit adultery (Matthew 19:16-21)
#8 - You shall not steal (Matthew 19:16-21)
#9 - You shall not give false testimony (Matthew 19:16-21, Revelation 22:15, Revelation 21:8)
#10 - Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry (Colossians 3:5)

Concerning the sabbath in the New Testament, Jesus said come unto me and I'll give you rest (Matthew 11:28-30) so abiding In Christ is the rest we are called to in the New Testament

Well I agree on rest on Sunday the Lord's Day but no observance of the Jewish Saturday Sabbath. And I agree on the common morals, how could they not be continued?

Again what you are listing is never called the Ten Commandments by God. The Commandments in chapter 34 God calls the Ten Commandments and with these He established a Covenant with Israel and instructed Moses to write them on the tablets. There cannot be two sets of Ten Commandments! And the Bible never indicates that the ten summaries are written on the tablets. They are ten summaries of ten actual Mosaic Laws, no reason to write them on the tablets.

In Chapter 34 God states the Ten Commandments and then He says to Moses.....
Exodus 34:27 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Write down these words, for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel.” 28 Moses was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights without eating bread or drinking water. And he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant—the Ten Commandments.

Put let me put all this in perspective….non of the 613 Mosaic Laws pertain to Christianity. Parts of the Law are hideous!

In war we do not kill the non virgins and “take” the virgins for ours selves and kill all the male children. This is one of the Mosaic Laws.

We do not practice polygamy. This is one of the Mosaic Laws.

We do have concubines and we do not sell our daughters as concubines. This is one of the Mosaic Laws.

We do not kill women that are raped. This is one of the Mosaic Laws.

But the belief that the ten summaries of the Mosaic Law are the Ten Commandments is very common. Even the Jews today believe that the ten summaries are the Ten Commandments. The actual Ten Commandment are pretty much ignored by Jews and Christians. And Christians take the Jewish Laws and post them in their churches. Which I and the Apostle Paul consider sacrilege. We are not Jewish!

There are two sins occurring here….
1. You cannot choose to observe part of the Mosaic Law. It is all or nothing.
2. You cannot use the Mosaic Laws as a moral guide or you are severed from Christ.

Are teachings of Christ and the Apostles not good enough? Sure they are.

Then on the other hand I cannot fault you for believing that the ten summaries are the Ten Commandments. It is like…Welcome to the proud crowd. But I can fault you on pretending that the restriction of engrave images are not part of the Ten Commandments….why? Why don’t you obey the rule not to have pictures, paintings, videos and television?

Again what you are listing is never called the Ten Commandments by God.

What part of "each commandment is listed in the New Testament" did you have problems understanding?

I just posted scripture references showing where each is in the New Covenant.

They match what God called the 10 Commandments which is His moral law.

God's moral law has been carried over by Jesus, our High Priest under the New Covenant

If it makes you feel better, don't call them the 10 Commandments to prevent yourself from going off the cliff thinking this means living under the Law of Moses when you see the 10 Commandments listed in the New Testament.

There are two sins occurring here….
1. You cannot choose to observe part of the Mosaic Law. It is all or nothing.
2. You cannot use the Mosaic Laws as a moral guide or you are severed from Christ.

I'm not the one in sin claiming these verses I listed from the New Testament should be ignored.

But do feel free to get your sin on if you must. It's your life that will be adversely effected not mine.

Lot's of folks are walking after the flesh these days. It's quite fashionable to turn the grace of the Lord in to lewdness!

Are teachings of Christ and the Apostles not good enough?

God's moral law has been carried over by Jesus, our High Priest under the New Covenant

Feel free to tell Him He is involved in wrong doing

Welcome to the proud crowd.

I leave you and your pride with the proud crowd :funlaugh2
