Is this example of a pastor threatening to curse and damn people to hell for leaving his church a valid interpretation of 1 Corinthians 16:22 "If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed (anathema). O Lord, come!"

Real life example of the pastor in question:

Not at all! This guy is false as false can be. I would not be listening to him. It's ALL in the scriptures...we stick with them, WE are NOT gods and this guy seems to want his to want to take God's place and "speak things into being"...and NO angels do not do that either! This guy is dangerous...please stay far, far away from him...stick to the bible my friend.
BTW-welcome to CB!

Many false teachers, prophet's and Christ's will come...

This guy is a false teacher and a blasphemer. May the Lord draw out all those who follow him and may the Lord rebuke him. His interpretation is not valid. Anathemas are given by the Church and those who rule it under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, those with the Office, but he is not one. Moreover: an anathema is not damnation, only God can damn.

Sounds a bit like this "pastor " wants to walk on water. What he's saying isn't that different from other cult leaders and no cult leader wants to loose power over people, hence the absurd threats.

The gospel is not about JESUS , This man is full of himself . What a lie . When paul said my gospel , HE was meaning THE GOSPLE OF JESUS .
And this gospel is our gosple . We cling to it . This man is full of himself . Follow no such thing .
