DO YOU HAVE THE HOLY GHOST?
John 14:26
Do you have an understanding of The Holy Ghost? as the third person of the Trinity of the Godhead. He is not a mere influence, impersonal force, or an emotion. He has characteristics of a person including intelligence.John 14:26
John 14:26 "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
"
He proceeds from the Father and the Son, is of the same substance, equal to power and glory, and is together with the Father and the Son, to be believed in, obeyed and worshipped.
He is a gift bestowed upon the believer for the purpose of equipping and empowering the believer, He makes the believer a more effective witness for service in the world. He teaches and guides one into all truth (John 16:13; Acts 1:8 , 8:39) Without Him, one and many read the Word of God, but lack understanding on how to rightly divide it.
The Word teaches we must STUDY to shew ourselves approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." – 2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV)
In studying the Word one begins acquiring a relationship with God, we die daily from our old self because of the guidance, and teaching of the Holy Ghost.
In these last days we are witnessing churches becoming social status groups, with the concept “I’m going to church” but they are not experiencing the benefits of the power of the Holy Ghost, they are rather imitating the worldly things, which makes their witness weak, con can see con, rivalry can see rivalry, lust can see lust. We are to show the world divine healing, miracles, overcoming strength because of faith and deliverance. Something that glorifies God.
The Baptism of the Holy Ghost is an experience subsequent to conversion and sanctification. We are not baptized with the Holy Ghost in order to be saved, we receive this baptism because we are saved. (Acts 19:1-6; John 3:5)
Do you see a new person emerging, is something on the inside working on the outside? Are you at peace, do you have joy through good and bad times. Is your hope in Christ Jesus. Do you have the Holy Ghost?
