Does God change His mind?

God can, has, and does change His mind.
Exodus 4:24-36 -He was going to kill Moses' son and didn't.
Exodus 32:14 -He was going to destroy the Israelites and didn't.
1 Samuel 15:11 -He regretted making Saul King.
-And quite famously in the Book of Jonah-- Jonah 3:10
But the big one-- is Genesis 6:6 where it says God regretted creating mankind. --then he changes His mind and limits human lifespans to 120 years.
Do these examples show where God didn't realize what would happen in a future time, and was therefore surprised by the turn of events?
Or did God have second thoughts about what He was going to do, and realied that it would not be appropriate, so He adapted a different course?
How do you account for God changing His mind like that?

Malachi 3:6
For I am YHWH, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
This is given as God's reason for why the sons of Jacob are not consumed. What kind of assurance is that if it's not true?

Truncated, would be another way to translate this. Cut short. That is, not left ongoing, giving the beast opportunity to kill everyone.
Some think of this as cut short from 3.5 years, or 7 years, however you think of this. Some see it as meaning cut short to only be 3.5 years, which is my understanding, and does not show God changing His mind.

Shallow or deep. You decide. Deep down, you're probably not a bad guy. ;)
You've already decided. Your posts make it clear. You've elected to base your assertions on a paraphrase of Scripture, and do not appear interested in taking it any deeper than that.
