Communists and Satanists. That's who is dumb enough to THINK they can kill God.
Meaning make you forget that God exists.
Keep your mind so active on daily routines and problems,
you forget to pray, time goes by you realize you haven't even acknowledged God.
You get forgetful......
That's how they intend on killing God.
Meaning, make us forget or deny in the name of science.
And such a grand dellusion that everyone will believe the Lie.
What purpose do you have if you don't have hope and faith?
They want us wandering in the wilderness alone and hungry for spiritual nourishment.
They throw at us money, they promise security, they promise equity.
Turn this stone into bread (money)
Cast yourself down and you will be caught (security)
Bow down and worship me. (Equity)

Is Jesus being tempted in the desert the same test Adam and Eve had ..and they failed where Jesus did not? satan couldn't get Jesus to make evil fruit.

And I believe each of us is tempted in the same way.
Some have a greater or lesser temptation, according to how much they can bare.
Some people will share their last meal with another, while another will hoard it for themselves.
Some are willing to give up freedom for security, others will stand and fight for freedom.
Some will sell their soul for fame and fortune, while others are content with what they have.
Food, Security and Equality
The only thing we should desire is to be in the presence of the Lord.
Anything else in this world doesn't compare. It is only temporary.
Eve chose the temporary. Jesus chose Eternity.
Each of us also have a choice.
Jesus showed us the way. By denying evil and choosing good.
And he is with us helping us. If we stumble he carries us.

I tell atheists that we are in the same test as Adam and Eve ..and to stop complaining about why we are in this situation when we are offered The Way out of it.
I wonder if "tree" is about a decision tree between choices of good and evil. A node of evil is evil fruit. Eating that fruit would be choosing it and doing it.
