Adam and Eve could know what good and evil was beforehand, but as soon as that evil knowledge had fruit ..like lust or money ..it was time to get kicked out.

I think satan's lie caused the evil knowledge fruit.

he was a murderer from the beginning ..because ..he caused us death.

He tried to kill God.

What was in his heart from the beginning?
Replacing God.
You shall be as God knowing good and evil
I will be like the Most High
Yeah, Lucifer.

Did Eve "covet" being God?
Did Eve try to "steal" God's authority?

What was in Eve's heart that she desired the fruit?
Adam went along... they both shared the fruit.

He was in the world but the world knew him not.

Adam where are you?
The fellowship had already broken.
Darkness would not come to the Light,
so the Light came to the darkness to shed light on it.

At what point was the seed planted to make them covet ?

Eve approached the tree first.
why?
she was thinking about it ... actions follow thoughts.

I was alive once without sin. And then the commandment came and I died.

Thou shalt not covet.

The seed was planted the day God said Don't eat it.
They were being tested. tried.
They failed.
The snake was just the tool that was used to draw out their inner desire.
It was permission to sin.

Like in Job. Satan is a tool used to bring about repentance and humility.

But even the snake transgressed first. Because it was in his heart to entice them.
Thou shalt not lay a stumbling block before the blind.
He made himself the stumbling block, when he should have also obeyed the commandment to Love thy neighbor.

It's a dominoe effect.

And I believe each of us is tempted in the same way.
Some have a greater or lesser temptation, according to how much they can bare.
Some people will share their last meal with another, while another will hoard it for themselves.
Some are willing to give up freedom for security, others will stand and fight for freedom.
Some will sell their soul for fame and fortune, while others are content with what they have.

Food, Security and Equality

The only thing we should desire is to be in the presence of the Lord.
Anything else in this world doesn't compare. It is only temporary.

Eve chose the temporary. Jesus chose Eternity.
Each of us also have a choice.
Jesus showed us the way. By denying evil and choosing good.
And he is with us helping us. If we stumble he carries us.

I wonder if "tree" is about a decision tree between choices of good and evil. A node of evil is evil fruit. Eating that fruit would be choosing it and doing it.
