Thousand, a thousand, this thousand, which thousand all indicate 1000.

"Thousand years" (Revelation 20:2) is χιλια ετη.
χιλια = 1000
ετη = years

Hence 1000 years.

"Time no longer" = no more delay."
It does not indicate the end of time itself, since time is not an entity, rather time is simply the interval in which action occurs.

Yes, after a/the thousand years; symbolizing TIME, ends, there will be no longer any delay for the time for spiritually building the Kingdom of God in heaven has expired, and time; "little season" for Satan to be set free has come. Physical time measured by seconds, minutes, hours, days, nights, seasons and years given this earth will not be part of the ETERNAL age to come. After Satan has his little season and he and all with him burned up, the eternal age to come will consist of a new heaven and new earth, wherein all things are made new, and there shall no longer be sun or moon, nor will there be night. Because the glory of God will be its light, and the Lamb the Light thereof. And since there will be no temple in the eternal age to come, it makes zero sense to argue for ONE thousand more years given this age after Christ comes again to establish the Kingdom of God with another holy temple then.

Re 21:1 ¶ And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
Re 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Re 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
Re 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
Re 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

Revelation 21:9 (KJV) And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.

Re 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
Re 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
Re 21:24
And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
Re 21:25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
Re 21:26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
Re 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

This earth will not be given another ONE thousand years of time after the seventh trumpet begins to sound there will no longer be anymore delay. The only time left for this earth when the seventh angel begins to sound shall be Satan's "little season", and that in NO WAY equates to ONE thousand years of more time for this earth once the last/seventh trumpet begins to sound.

Yes, AOD will be present on this earth until the end of time. What you don't understand is how AOD spoken of by Daniel, Christ says the first century disciples would see/know from the first century AD to disciples who read these words until the end of time. Christ made that clear to His first disciples, and to "whoso readeth" would also understand. Why would Christ tell His disciples living in the first century "YE therefore shall see the AOD, spoken of by Daniel the prophet" if it is not true.

Matthew 24:15 (KJV) When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

Why do you refuse to believe what is plainly written? These are not my words; they are from the written Word of God! You choose not to engage in further discussion on this topic because your doctrine does not come FROM the Bible but is doctrine that you READ INTO the Bible. Opinions are only of value when they can be proven truth FROM the Word of God.
Your claim is "False"

Matt 24:15 Daniel's AOD causes the great tribulation seen in Matthew 24:21 as the "Future" Church on earth is instructed to flee to the mountains away from Judea/Jerusalem, Matthew 24:22 states that this tribulation would be "Shortened" because it's so bad that no flesh could withstand it, never to be seen in world history (No, Nor Ever Shall Be)

You "Falsely" state that the tribulation seen in Matthew 24 started in the 1st Century and is still taking place "Presently" and into the future? "Malarkey"!

Matthew 24:29-31 shows that the "Future" group spoken to will be present on this earth to be "Eyewitnesses" of the Lord's "Future" second coming (They Shall See The Son Of Man Coming)

Conclusion: Those in Matthew 24 described as being in the greatest tribulation that will ever be seen in the history of the world is "Future" and they will be eyewitnesses of the Lord's second coming, and it didn't begin or take place in your reformed "Preterist" 1st century as you "Falsely" claim

Matthew 24:15-31KJV
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
25 Behold, I have told you before.
26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

No.

When?
What about “believing” unsaved mortals?

When?

When IS the SON of MAN revealed?
Where IS He?
Was Lot a mortal Believer?
Was Lot Killed?
Jesus returns and the resurrection of all takes place on (The Last Day) no 1,000 year kingdom on this earth following

Paul clearly taught that when Jesus returns the resurrection of the dead takes place, (Then Cometh The End) its that simple (The End) not a 1,000 year kingdom on this earth as many "Falsely" claim

1 Corinthians 15:21-24KJV
21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
24 Then cometh the end
, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

The scripture above is in perfect agreement with Jesus being revealed in fire and brimstone as seen below (Then Cometh The End) as all the unsaved wicked are destroyed at the Lord's return

(Destroyed Them All)

Luke 17:29-30KJV
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

The resurrection of "All" is seen below and the wicked are judged to eternal damnation, this is when the "Final Judgement" takes place (The End)

John 5:28-29KJV
28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth
; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Jesus clearly taught that the resurrection of "All" takes place on "The Last Day" this is in perfect agreement with the scripture above

John 6:39-40KJV

39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Lot was mortal.
Lot believed.
Lot was Not killed.
Same mortal believers will continue living during the express word of Gods, 1,000 year reign….that you daily affirm you deny and reject.

What will be your consequence for false accusing, rejecting and preaching to deny Gods Word?
Refer to post #223 above

Denial is on you.

Rev 5:
[10] And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Rev 20: …4:
…and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Rev 20: …6:
…priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Revelation 20:1-6 Isnt A Millennial Kingdom On This Earth, Dont Be Deceived

Can you find the things claimed by those teaching a Literal 1,000 year Millennial Kingdom On This Earth in Revelation 20:1-6 below?

1.) Physical Earthly Kingdom?
2.) Physical Earthly Throne?
3.) Physical Mortal Humans?

The Above Claims (Don't Exist)

Revelation 20:1-6 Is 100% In The Lords (Spiritual) Angel, Heaven, Devil, Satan, The Souls, The Dead, God, Christ

100% Spiritual Realm, No "Literal" Time

2 Peter 3:8KJV
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Revelation 20:1-6KJV
1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

You can proclaim "false" all you want, but just saying it is false proves NOTHING! Prove that when Christ tells them of the things that "YE" (those living disciples He spoke to from the Mt of Olives) shall see/understand AOD that will cause great tribulation such as never before, He didn't really mean the first century disciples themselves would see/know/understand AOD and that great tribulation they would experience as they preach the Gospel of the Kingdom of God through Christ didn't really apply to them, because it would only apply to disciples living near or at the very end of this age!

Of course, great tribulation that has existed for faithful saints from the first century and throughout every generation of faithful saints to follow, God cuts short. Why? Because if God did not intervene to cut short, great tribulation the Gospel of the Kingdom of God through Christ would not be preached, therefore the Kingdom of God in heaven would not be built and completed in spite of great tribulation, trials, persecution and martyrdom that always follows faithful preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom of God through Christ. We know this from reading of the martyrs who were beheaded for being faithful to God and proclaiming Christ. But their martyrdom did not stop the preaching of the gospel of the Kingdom of God, it did the exact opposite, because the Church in heaven is being built upon the blood of the martyrs for the faith.

Why do you continue to ignore the words Christ spoke to His first disciples and every disciple that reads the words of the prophecy after them? Stop pretending you know better than Christ because He says, "When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation"! You continue to spout and spew without ever addressing the FACT that your understanding of biblical doctrine comes from your fantasy world of imagination, thinking it wise to ignore the words of Christ to force the doctrine to agree with your fantastic imagination!

"False" Matthew 24 is speaking of a future tribulation that will be "Shortened" a horrible time that hasn't been seen in history nor ever will be seen

Your claim that the great tribulation seen in Matthew 24:21 represents the time from the 1st century to the future second coming of Jesus Is "False", your claim that the tribulation that is seen in Matthew 24:21 is 2,000 years long and waiting Is "Laughable" in denial of the afore mentioned above

What would be laughable, if not for being so sad is how you attribute these Words of Christ to me!

If your doctrine had any biblical merit, you would quote the verses that prove what you imagine is truth. But not only do you not prove your doctrine FROM the Bible, you ignore the words of Christ. Christ associates preaching the gospel of the Kingdom of God with AOD and great tribulation like nothing ever before, nor shall ever be again.

Who are these words of warning spoken to? Do you imagine these words are NOT for the Jewish disciples of Christ living in the first century? It is directed to first century Jewish Christians exhorting them to flee to the mountains when THEY see the AOD. Warning them not even to return to their houses, but to take their families including the unweaned child, warning THEM to pray their flight from Judaea to the mountains would not be in the winter neither on the sabbath day. You really believe these warnings for those living in Judaea will be in the far distant future, long after the ones these words were spoken to are long ago dead? That is indeed laughable, and why you cannot provide proof texts from the Word of God to prove your doctrine built from fictional imagination.

Mt 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Mt 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
Mt 24:16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
Mt 24:17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
Mt 24:18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
Mt 24:19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
Mt 24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

Matthew 24:21 (KJV) For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Your far distant future fulfillment of the Words that Christ spoke to His first century disciples are every bit as unbiblical, as the doctrine of the Preterits who believe these words were fulfilled in 70 AD.

The whole Chapter is dedicated to the questions below in Matthew 24:3, what are the signs of the Lord's coming and the end of this world, these are "Future" events unfulfilled

Matthew 24:3KJV
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

The first generation believers didn't witness the signs, nor was the second coming of Jesus near at the doors, these are future events unfulfilled

Matthew 24:33KJV
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

Uh…

Rev 11:15…Seventh Trump
Rev 20:2…Satan chained in Hell
Rev 20:4…Christs 1,000 year reign
Rev 20:7…1,000 years End, Satan released from hell (his little season)
Rev 20:8…all nations come Against Christ’ Kingdom. (Satan’s influence)
Rev 20:9…all mortals Against Christ’ Kingdom Killed by Fire.
Rev 20:10…Satan cast permanently to Hell.

Matthew 24:3KJV
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

Matthew 24:33KJV
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

I'm astounded by how hard you work trying to ignore the words Christ spoke to His first century disciples about things THEY specifically wanted to know. Who are the disciples that came to Him? The disciples alive in the first century! Th audience never changes, although it does become inclusive of every born-again Christian.

Matthew 24:1 (KJV) And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

The same disciples that went privately to Him, the disciples alive in the first century asking Him "when shall these things be" AND "what shall be the sign of thy coming, and the end of the world"?

Matthew 24:3 (KJV) And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

The whole chapter, speaking directly to first century disciples, as well as every disciple coming after them who would read the prophecy and understand what would come to pass throughout this age as the gospel of the Kingdom of God through Christ is preached unto all the nations of the world.

Where in the discourse do the words Christ spoke to first century Christian disciples change from what they themselves would experience, as well as to those living in the distant future would experience as others faithfully preach the gospel of the Kingdom of God through Christ unto all the nations of the earth?

It isn't until we get to vs 30 that Christ speaks of things pertaining to His coming at the end of this world. Knowing the first century disciples would be long ago dead and buried, Christ tells them when the sign of the Son of man appears in heaven "then all the tribes of the earth mourn, and THEY SHALL SEE the Son of man coming in the clouds", notice Christ does not say the first century Christians would be alive to see the Son of man coming. When the last trumpet will sound, and Christ will send His angels to gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Mt 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Mt 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

After telling His disciples of all that shall be while the Kingdom of God is being built through all who believe in Christ by the power of the gospel proclaimed. He says that all the people alive upon the earth at His coming will physically see the sign, and all the tribes of the earth mourn as they physically see Him.

Beginning in vs 32 Christ returns to speaking of things that all His faithful disciples must endure during this time allotted (a thousand years) for building the spiritual Kingdom of God in heaven through preaching the Gospel while Satan is bound.

So many believe the following verses are referring to the coming of Christ at the end of this age. But He's already told us what to expect when He comes again.

When we compare Christ's words in Matthew with what He says in Luke, we discover that Christ is not referring to His coming at the end of the age in the clouds. Christ, while speaking a parable, says evidence that the Kingdom of God Christ came with is both here and near to whosoever hears and believes, would be evident because there would be proof of life for those who were once in darkness and unbelief. The budding of the fig tree (Jews) and all the trees (Gentiles) in the parable symbolizes man, who hear the gospel of the Kingdom of God preached and those who believe by grace through faith go from darkness and death, such as we find in trees during the winter, to life as we see in spring and summer when trees come back to life again. These signs of life from death are not limited to any particular time throughout this age. These signs of life proving a man has been born again will be made known/understood/made apparent (see) to whosoever has been born again and spiritually gone from spiritual death to spiritual life and have entered the Kingdom of God in heaven.

Christ speaking again to the first century disciples saying exclusively to them that they; first century Jews would not die before knowing the Kingdom of God Christ came to earth with is not a physical Kingdom upon this earth, but is a spiritual Kingdom of God from heaven that mankind shall only know and enter when we have been born again.

Mt 24:32 ¶ Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
Mt 24:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
Mt 24:34
Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.I

Lu 21:29
¶ And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;
Lu 21:30
When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand.
Lu 21:31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.

Only man alive upon the earth shall visibly see the Son of man coming in the clouds at the end of this age. Every born-again believer will know/understand/be made aware the Kingdom of God has come when we preach the Gospel of the Kingdom of God and through the power of the Word and Spirit man who believes has been born again, and through the Spirit sent from Christ is now spiritually in the Kingdom of God in heaven.

Lu 21:29
¶ And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees;

Sorry, Matthew Chapter 24 wasn't speaking about 1st century Christians, its speaking about events that will come upon the future church from today, who will be eyewitnesses of the signs and of the Lord's future coming in the heavens

Matt 24:15 Daniel's AOD Is (Future Unfulfilled)
Matt 24:21 The Great Tribulation Is (Future Unfulfilled)
Matt 24:29-30 The Signs Witnessed And The Lord's Visible Return Seen By Believers On Earth (Future Unfulfilled)

Matthew 24:29-30KJV
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven:
and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Conclusion: The Horse Is Dead

Your Claim Is "False"

Jesus will return to destroy "ALL" the unsaved mortal men on this earth by fire

(Destroyed Them All) Gods Words Before Your Eyes, Read It Again And Again

Luke 17:29-30KJV

29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
There will be a battle in which Jesus and his angels will return and overcome Satan and his angels (Revelation 19:11-21).

Current heavens and earth to be destroyed by fire (after the millennium) is prophesied in 2Peter 3:7-13, and depicted in Revelation 21:1.

No such thing as a 1,000 year Millennial Kingdom on this earth found in scripture, its a man made fairy tale

Yes, I agree! Like the old saying goes you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink!

It's good to be thoroughly convicted of what we believe, if what you believe can be proven from the Word of God. Since every answer from you simply parrots the last reply, it makes no sense to continue. Because you show you have no interest in debating about that which comes FROM the Bible. You would rather promote and defend doctrine that comes from your imagination.

Though Christ only spoke to those who were alive when He came to earth a man, His written Word is NOT limited to only some people depending upon the time they live. Trying to make the Olivet Discourse applicable only to those who would live far into the future ignores the FACT that Christ gave answers telling them of these they would experience as they faithfully preach the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. The same thing is true for those who try to fit the Discourse in 70 AD as the Preterits do. The Bible is written that ALL of mankind may understand how God has kept His promise to mankind. The promise first spoken to Adam and Eve in the garden of Eve. Promising that one would come crush the head of the serpent, and whosoever believes on Him would once again have eternal life that man was promised from the day they were created.

The only way the whole of Scripture can be reconciled unto all who read the words and believe on Christ is to understand preaching the gospel of the Kingdom of God is not limited only to people living at a certain time throughout human history. The words Christ spoke to His first century disciples pertain to whosoever throughout time would hear/read and believe on Christ. The same fate for first century disciples is no different than the fate of last century disciples. And the same fate awaits all who are born again through the gospel and power of Christ's Spirit, we have His blessed promise of everlasting life with Christ forever on the new earth.

Your no different than those you call Reformed Preterits! Your understanding of Scripture, like theirs is a narrow view that is only for some depending upon when we live and die.

Yes, the passage says A thousand years. Notice it does not say ONE thousand years. Why didn't John write ONE thousand if a thousand years equates to literally ONE thousand years of more time after Christ comes again?

I've already shown you in post 203 how a/the thousand years have been defined. If you believe there will be another one thousand years of more time given this earth after Christ comes again, why haven't you addressed my reply to you? Prove from the Bible what you allege! If you cannot, perhaps it's because you have NOT rightly understood a/the thousand years written by John in Rev 20.
