I'm typing this message before I go to bed since it is midnight in my time zone right now and it is officially a week before I write to my congressman all about what needs to happen in order to keep America free. So if you guys have any thoughts or suggestions feel free to post them here or send me a PM. I'm turning you maggots into men and women and this is YOUR chance to speak up and have your voice be heard as we (figuratively speaking) fight and try to take our country back!!! :D @Amazed@grace, @Bobby Jo, @Heart2Soul, @Taken, @APAK, @Grailhunter. (Yeah, yeah, yeah I know it's Naruto but it's still really powerful battle songs nonetheless. :D There was only going to be one but I couldn't decide so I picked them both. :) )

Hello,

If you want my opinion, the Nation of America needs to repent of the sin that they committed over the last 20 or so years in trying to heal the land of Babylon instead of destroying the land of Babylon as God commanded the nations to do. The consequence of committing this sin is that God sad that he would fill the lands of the nations, who cooperated with the USA in invading the Land of Babylon, to heal it, now known as Iraq, and remembered once more before God in 1926 by treaty, by filling our lands with people who are like locusts and that they would raise a shout over the nations.

Jeremiah 51:11-14: -

11 Sharpen the arrows, fill the quivers!
The Lord has aroused the spirit of the kings of the Medes,
Because His purpose is against Babylon to destroy it;
For it is the vengeance of the Lord, vengeance for His temple.
12 Lift up a signal against the walls of Babylon;
Post a strong guard,
Station sentries,
Place men in ambush!
For the Lord has both purposed and performed
What He spoke concerning the inhabitants of Babylon.
13 O you who dwell by many waters,
Abundant in treasures,
Your end has come,
The measure of your end.
14 The Lord of hosts has sworn by Himself:
"Surely I will fill you with a population like locusts,
And they will cry out with shouts of victory over you."
NASU

The Christians have also joined their Presidents during this time period in this sin by either, actively encouraging the President to heal the land of Babylon instead of destroying it, and when God raised up the Medes to actually carry out his desire for the land of Babylon to be destroyed, or by remaining silent in their opposition to the plans of the Presidents. The partners in the Coalition of the Willing then openly opposed the men from the nation of the Medes, i.e. the Persian, Iran, from entering Iraq to destroy that land as God had decreed.

The Christian shepherds should be calling their sheep to prayers of repentance, but what I am hearing are prayers of indignation and and claims that they are righteous and that they should not be suffering for the deeds of their nation. The shepherds and the sheep cannot remember the sins which they have now committed and as suck they believe that the visitation of their iniquities upon them and the nation should not be happening.

The prayers for the USA and the other members of the Coalition of the Nations to God should be that, God will raise up prophets with His understanding to lead the nation collectively to repentance and explain to them how they fulfilled their sin in accordance with Jeremiah's prophecies as recorded in chapters 50-51 of his prophetic book.

The nation needs to fall down before God and repent of their sins, with this just being one of them.

Shalom

Dearest AR,

You are CORRECT that the FIRST THING WE HAVE TO DO is WAKE UP!!!!

... and it's not an easy thing to take an active role in our households, community, and society, but if we don't, satan will continue to run and RUIN our lives. And this MUST start with a Spiritual Awakening, and then the Physical Involvement (i.e., Faith without Works is DEAD).

So let's GET INVOLVED in preparing our households; participating in our community; and changing our society!

With VERY Best Regards,
Bobby Jo (and ELAM still napping, but he needs to be engaged also! :rolleyes: )

No, Jeramiah 50-51, spells it out for us as to what was going to happen during this present time when Israel was seeking to renew their covenant with their God. Now if you are responding without first reading the mentioned two chapters from Jeremiah, and blaming the devil for what has happened in the USA, then you are very mistaken. You say that God does not lie, yet you, in the same breath so to speak go on to say that the sins of the USA and the other nations can be laid firmly at the feet of the devil, but that is not acknowledging that we do have the choice to be influenced by Satan/Devil or not. The President back in 2001, after the 9/11 signs and wonders, began to play God like and went about orchestrating a punishment for those whom he thought was responsible for the three planes flying into three buildings on that fateful day.

You sound like the people in the USA and the other countries, that are saying that they have done nothing wrong and that it was the devil that was naughty and did the dastardly deed such that they are were and are not responsible for the sins that have happened. However, the iniquities of the USA and the other nations is being visited upon the USA and the other nations as God foretold would happen in Jeremiah 50-51.

AR you have a choice that you need to make. Either you sit down and read the scriptures, to learn the truth, or you continue and not repent of the sins that have happened over the past 20 or so years.

That really is your choice.

Shalom

PS: - You are right that Satan has a foothold into our lives where he can influence us to continue sinning against God.

BJ you are absolutely right with the first steps being repentance on our part for the iniquities that our respective nations have committed over the past 20 or so years.

Let me understand your chastisement of America's Christians here.

Let's consider the allies of Iraq.
Iran, Syria and Russia, Lebanon, Venezuela. To name just a few. And those countries allies included.

Remember the operation against Iraq when Hussein was in power? France didn't join the fight because Iraq supplied, oil to nations around the world, including Russia.

So, here's the concern when you condemn Americans for not committing genocide on newborns, to the elderly, of Iraq. Wiping that nation from the face of the earth.

The worst attributes in history begin with the refrain, God told me to.

Godwin's law can take a pass here because this is relevant. Hitler believed he was in service to Christ when committing to his genocidal final solution.

If God is Omipotent, why does he need human agency to wipe Iraq from the face of the earth?
And if God commands such action, where does God then rescind his Omnibenevolence?

Further and lastly, if America did as you hope, the blowback would be devastating.
Uprisings of inflamed Muslims would ensue in America and all our allied nations.

And that's just for starters.
Once all human life was made extinct in Iraq through a surgical strike action, we'd have to contend with Saudi Arabia, and all nations in the ME. And don't forget Russia.
Because oil is gold. Once the oil fields if Iraq were left abandoned the war for control there would ensue.
All contracts or agreements with Iraq made null and void.

While devastating carnage around the world continued.
Imagine trying to drive to work and an IED takes out a NY subway beneath your tires.
IED's everywhere. Retaliating Iraqi nationals acting out. Hidden cells, in all western nations, and this is today a fact not a hypothetical following this about Iraq genocide, would ride up and wage war in our nation.
Imagine suicide bombers every day detonating themselves. All ages.
In our schools, supermarkets, work place, churches.

Because, in Islam Muslims don't die and go straight to Paradise. It's Allah's call.
However, if they die a martyr, they are guaranteed entry.

You're not threatening Iraq with genocide in God's name.
You're guaranteeing a world slaughter in the wake of poor ignorant Apologetics.

If God wants Iraq wiped from the face of the planet, he's able. He's God. Let him do it.

Thinking America needs to be his hit squad to fulfill scripture is arrogant and incredibly short sighted.

God is love.
Genocide is suicide and hatred.

And you close that post with, Shalom.
Really?

Amazed@grace, I understand your post of indignation however, I believe I also said that the nation I live in is also seeing the same things beginning to occur in our nation as well. As for condemning the USA by my words, I had actually quoted scriptures from Jeremiah 50-51 in doing so.

Now, the question I have for you is this, have you read those two chapters and understood them and what God had prophesied would happen to the second nation of the king of the north and the nations that joined him in attempting to heal Iraq which has dominion over the land of Babylon. God is telling us that His wrath will be pour out over the peoples that are living in the Land of Babylon. This is repeated in Revelation 16:17-21, which is the seventh bowl judgement, that "the cup of the wrath of God would be poured once again upon the land of Babylon." Babylon was remembered once more before the Lord in 1926 when the nation of Iraq was established by treaty between France and Britain when they divided up the winning spoils of WW1 of the control over the Middle East, between them to gain access to the oil beneath the lands of the Middle East.

What we are presently experiencing is the overlapping influence of Satan so that all of the nations of the earth are gathered together to assemble at Armageddon where they will be judged for their involvement in the trampling of God's sanctuary and His earthly hosts over the prophesied 2,300 years found in Daniel 8. What we are also experiencing can be found recorded in the sixth bowl judgement. which has been unfolding before our very eyes even today.

Yes I agree with you that many nations of the world are committing many ugly sins, but these manifested sins are visible to confirm to the nations that they have turned away from God and have stopped worshipping Him. We really need to understand that the primary sin we all have committed is that we have turned away from God and that as a consequence of turning away from God the sins that you have mentioned have manifested themselves also in our lives.

Now I am not the one who is ignoring God's prophecies as given to us through the words as recorded for us in the Book of Jeremiah.

I also acknowledged in my posts above that Australia is also just as guilty in our sins, like the USA, for attempting to heal the Land of Babylon. In fact our PM, a fine "Christian" man endorsed the determination to act as expressed by President Bush shortly after the 9/11 event which was part of the Sixth Bowl prophecy.

If you disagree with me after reading Jeremiah 50-51, then I would be pleased to consider your rebuttal arguments and reconsider my position.

I await your response.

Shalom

Some say part of the Jeremiah 50-51 prophecy was fulfilled with the overthrow of Cyrus II in 539AD after Persia conquered Babylon.

The prophetic full on destruction of Babylon has yet to occur. We know this because their walls still stand.
Jeremiah 51:58: “The broad wall of Babylon will be completely razed, and her gates will be set on fire.”

The final prophecy will occur in God's good time.

It has been 1,988 years since Jesus left us for heaven.

The tragedy behind prophecy as I've lived it is, when things go bad many of us think the end is nigh. Because we've read there shall be signs and wonders before the end that will forewarn us.

The thing about that is the same as pertains to the second coming. No one knows the day or time.

And yet, when fallen people capture our attention due to their evil acts, many of us see that as end time, "any day now" prophecy being fulfilled.

We even tell ourselves, depending on these events time frame these last 1, 988 years, that AIDS is God's judgement, 9/11 was God's judgement, Waco was a sign of the Antichrist government taking seed, and Covid-19 is retribution for the world having turned against God.

Jesus said "this" generation will not pass away before we witness the second coming of the son of man in the clouds.
A generation is 40 years.

Jesus should have returned in 77 A.D.
Yet, we have ways of explaining why that didn't happen. And we keep waiting, and looking for signs, and claiming God is behind all evil that transpires on this human plane, because we make him mad acting out on two fronts. The fallen sinners and the unworthy believers in him.

While we seem to forget that God told us, he predetermined , predestines, all things because he is sovereign over his creation.

We plan our life, believe we make our choices, but God sets our steps.
A day is like a thousand years by God's reckoning. And a thousand years like unto a day.

Only he knows his meaning behind, "this generation".

Personally, I leave the unfolding of his prophecies to God. While realizing fallen and saved alike are following God's roadmap to a T.

We are what we are because God created us to be this way.
Let it ride. If we believe God is in control all we can do is be ready.

I was a member for a minute of a Rapture forum . I took my leave when the administrator deleted two news threads I opened.
He told me to keep my conspiracy theories to myself.
To this day that memory and chastisement still cracks me up for the irony behind his words.
An Admin. of a Rapture readiness forum telling me, anyone, yo keep our conspiracy theories to ourselves.

I say, let it come. I know man is what we are because it was predetermined by God.
When we hear of horrors befalling the world we presume to say we know why it's happening.

The worst excuse, for me as one who witnessed 9/11 happen on live TV, is to blame our present state on why God makes or let's it happen on ourselves.

No matter how large the event, or how intimately personal yet made public, the tragedy.

And to think after all that many of us prosthelytize. Seeking to lead more people to find Jesus.

Because he loves us.

You are entitled to you opinion as to the understanding we should hold with respect to Jeremiah 50-51 but the main timeframe for these two chapters can be found in the timing of the first king of the north which was one of the four Greek divisions of the Greek Empires and around 150 BC this Greek King rounded up all of the people of Babylon and pulled the buildings apart and carted off the people and their utility structures and distributed the people and the utility structures throughout his realm. The land of Babylon lay devastated and desolated for a the prescribed period of time of two ages, which is a little longer than 2,000 years, before a people where set up in 1926 AD, to have dominion over the land of Babylon once more such that the land was remembered once more before God.

Now you have declared that a generation is only 40 years long, yet I would suggest to you that the meaning of "genea" is the same as an age, equivalent in length to a Day of the Lord, which Biblically is described as being 1,000 or so years long.

So approximately 96 years after the Fig tree buds, God will begin to Gather Israel to Himself for the great harvest during the last age, i.e. the Millennium Age, and as the prophecy in Hosea 6:1-3 tells us the time span for the season of harvest is the same as a Day of the Lord: -

Hosea 6:1-3: - 6:1 Come, and let us return to the Lord;
For He has torn, but He will heal us;
He has stricken, but He will bind us up.
2 After two days He will revive us;
On the third day He will raise us up,
That we may live in His sight.
3 Let us know,
Let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord.
His going forth is established as the morning;
He will come to us like the rain,
Like the latter and former rain to the earth.
NKJV

I would, based on the above passage, would suggest that when Jesus referred to "this generation," that he was referring to a time period that was a little longer than 1,000 years, given that Satan and his angels are to be locked up in the bottomless pit for 1,000 years before they are given a little while, i.e. maybe 20-30 years, to do their worst before they will be captured and dispatched into the Lake of fire.

Now the 6th Bowl Judgement, which the 9/11 is a part of, is very much independent of the prophetic outcome that will occur to the second king of the north that led 19 other nations into the invasion of Iraq to heal the land. This passage from Jeremiah 51 describes what happens and the consequences for the nations that tried to heal Babylon:-

Jeremiah 51:6-14: -
6 Flee from the midst of Babylon,
And every one save his life!
Do not be cut off in her iniquity,
For this is the time of the Lord's vengeance;
He shall recompense her.
7 Babylon was a golden cup in the Lord's hand,
That made all the earth drunk.
The nations drank her wine;
Therefore the nations are deranged.
8 Babylon has suddenly fallen and been destroyed.
Wail for her!
Take balm for her pain;
Perhaps she may be healed.
9 We would have healed Babylon,
But she is not healed.
Forsake her, and let us go everyone to his own country;
For her judgment reaches to heaven and is lifted up to the skies.
10 The Lord has revealed our righteousness.
Come and let us declare in Zion the work of the Lord our God.
11 Make the arrows bright!
Gather the shields!
The Lord has raised up the spirit of the kings of the Medes.
For His plan is against Babylon to destroy it,
Because it is the vengeance of the Lord,
The vengeance for His temple.
12 Set up the standard on the walls of Babylon;
Make the guard strong,
Set up the watchmen,
Prepare the ambushes.
For the Lord has both devised and done
What He spoke against the inhabitants of Babylon.
13 O you who dwell by many waters,
Abundant in treasures,
Your end has come,
The measure of your covetousness.
14 The Lord of hosts has sworn by Himself:
"Surely I will fill you with men, as with locusts,
And they shall lift up a shout against you.
"

This is the sin that I am talking about that the USA and 19 other nations participated in and the punishment for all of the nations is set out clearly in verse 14.

If I can see the evidence from what has happened in the USA and which is beginning to occur in Australia, that the nations of the Coalitions of the Willing committed against God, and that we should be prepared to repent of this sin of turning away from God, then I am surprised that you also cannot see the Biblical and the unfolding events in the USA confirming what is recorded in Jeremiah 51:14.

If you cannot see it then so be it.

Shalom

Continued from the post above: -
Jeremiah 51:6-14: - 6 Flee from the midst of Babylon,
And every one save his life!
Do not be cut off in her iniquity,
For this is the time of the Lord's vengeance;
He shall recompense her.
7 Babylon was a golden cup in the Lord's hand,
That made all the earth drunk.
The nations drank her wine;
Therefore the nations are deranged.
8 Babylon has suddenly fallen and been destroyed.
Wail for her!
Take balm for her pain;
Perhaps she may be healed.
9 We would have healed Babylon,
But she is not healed.
Forsake her, and let us go everyone to his own country;
For her judgment reaches to heaven and is lifted up to the skies.
10 The Lord has revealed our righteousness.
Come and let us declare in Zion the work of the Lord our God.
11 Make the arrows bright!
Gather the shields!

There's always the possibility you don't see it.

So,.. you think that this was all a part of God's plan??? How many times do I have to say it!?! God doesn't lie or cheat and this was solely the work of the devil!! :mad:
What is at the left hand of God? Anyone working for God, but not with Him?

I'm typing this message before I go to bed since it is midnight in my time zone right now and it is officially a week before I write to my congressman all about what needs to happen in order to keep America free.
maybe you should just run for President!

@April_Rose you might argue the point that credibility and scandal-ism seems to stop politicians from holding office. And if that is the case then outlaw socialism and communism in the USA. Any politician pushing socialistic ideas or communist ideas be banned from the office of the government of the USA as not supporting a type of government compatible with the constitution.
