My guess. You have been offered or thinking about taking on a new High profile job. but you are not or think you are not qualified for and you are unsure of you self.
You were being shown that you are not in control of your circumstances which requires a turning back to who you are and only then will you be able to apply the brakes, just in the nick of time, to once more regain the control that was previously in your life.
Perhaps this was what your dream was all about.
