''Although we know by all the sinning OSAS says they can not stop doing, that Jesus is not enough to stop them from their sinning, nor anyone else, but until now none of them have openly said it.

Now one of them says Jesus and His love is a good antidote for sinning less, but not a perfect One. At any time Christians can be sinning less, but at no time can any Christian not be sinning at all.

Jesus the good Physician is indeed pretty good, just not Perfect.

And so now the obvious is plainly spoken: the OSAS Christ is only capable of less sinning.

For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. ''
You are quoting what someone else teaches, which I am exposing as false. It's not my teaching.

I do not agree that Jesus is not enough to stop sinning, but only enough for partially.

I know Jesus is more than enough to stop sinning at all, and not just some of the time.

In future, it's always best to actually quote people in order to declare what they are teaching. And asking them to clarify is even better.

And so your conclusion was not based on this thread's teaching, which was the confusion.

And as I said, you are quoting what an OSAS believer teaches, which I quoted to expose how extremely perverted OSAS doctrine can be in the hands of willful sinners.

Are we eternally irrevocably saved ?

So long as we continue in the faith of Jesus to obey Him in the spirit and in the flesh:

Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed.

And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled

In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight.

If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven.

And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

If you are speaking of unconditional eternal security in being saved, then that is an OSAS lie Scripture rejects: Being eternally saved is at any time on earth conditional on being faithful obedient sons of God, even as the Son faithfully obeyed the Father in days of His flesh.

Being eternally saved in heavenly places, while still sinning in the flesh on earth is mystical perversion of the good news of the cross and resurrection of Christ, that we are delivered from sinning in the flesh by Jesus Christ living within our souls.

For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

Thank you for reiterating your position.

Eternal security in Christ is eternal irrevocable faith and salvation. This is a free irrevocable gift of God's grace.
