Back in the 80's Derek Prince recordings were on our Christian radio every morning & evening, and his videos were shown regulary in meetings for years. I was cautious of some folk whose mantra seemed to be "if Derek Prince said it, it must be right", but you get that with high profile preachers.

I only just started watching his videos about a week ago. I will keep my ears and eyes open though.
He has a 10 part series on "What is man? " I listened as I fell asleep so I missed a lot.
But what I did hear, sounded reasonable.

In all seriousness endurance is a needed quality that all Christians must have, as it is a requirement of salvation Mat 24:13 Great post maam, on a subject that is rarely mentioned!
I'm wearing my costume for tonight's 80's party in the Fellowship Forum that @April_Rose is having at 7pm est.
I'm going to need endurance to get through it LOL
Not as young as I used to be.

Psa 30:5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
Mar 4:16 And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;
Mar 4:17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word's sake, immediately they are offended.

Deu 29:18 Lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turneth away this day from the LORD our God, to go and serve the gods of these nations; lest there should be among you a root that beareth gall and wormwood;
Pro 12:3 A man shall not be established by wickedness: but the root of the righteous shall not be moved.
Getting to the root of endurance..
Rev 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
1Co 13:4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
1Co 13:5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
1Co 13:6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
1Co 13:7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
2Ti 2:1 Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
2Ti 2:2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
2Ti 2:3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
2Ti 2:4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
I sure would like someone to do a study on 2 Timothy chapter 2.
There is a lot in there..

We have discussed endurance for salvation, as Jesus said was necessary maam, but obviously we have to endure in something. What is it that we have to endure in maam, as we all endure life whether righteous or not, so there must be something Jesus was indicating to us that we have to endure in.

Yes maam, no doubt, the biggest part of a Christians endurance. All of us have them, but Jehovah promises us this: (1 Corinthians 10:13) . . .God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but along with the temptation he will also make the way out so that you may be able to endure it.
No doubt like myself, you have experienced this as well.

I dressed up for last night's oldies event in the Fellowship forum.
