This is basically a wake up call. I myself have had to wake up to the reality that I have been deceived since professing to be a Christian. What I've realized is that to be successful in your Christian walk you have to have Jesus in the centre of your heart. Unless your heart is converted, no amount of church attendance or Bible reading will get you through the narrow gate. Let me give you an example:

There are many Christians who think they are truly born again and that they are on their way to heaven. If you are one of those Christians then please answer these questions:

1. Do you have a love for the world? Do you once in a while watch an ungodly TV program? Do you ever go out to a club, not to preach, but to party with your friends?

2. If your pastor, who was a true man of God, said in church, "I have decided to go to the middle east to preach the gospel to Muslims. I realize that I might be executed, but I know my soul is in God's hands. I need your help. I would like some of you to come with me. I also need money to help me survive in the middle east as long as possible to get the gospel out." Would you be willing to risk your life in order to save souls in the middle east? Or would you be willing to donate a few hundred pounds to help the pastor out?

3. If a homeless man or woman came knocking on your door in desperation of food and shelter, would you be willing to give them enough money to get a room and some food, even if the money was for your child's birthday? Or would you just turn them away and pray for them?

4. If a Christian brother or sister was made homeless and came knocking on your door in the middle of the night, would you allow them to stay with you until they found another place to live, or would you tell them that you didn't have a spare room?

When I come across modern day Christians, I get the impression that the majority wouldn't do the things I've just listed. They would make excuses: "Well, I can't leave my family; I promised my child a nice birthday present; I can't let you stay because my wife and children would feel uncomfortable; I only go out partying once in a while, it's no big deal."

There is a born again Christian called Earthquake Kelley. You can listen to his testimony on YouTube. He travels around the world delivering people from demonic oppression. He also has a big spare room in his house where he allows drug addicts, prostitutes, former gang members, homeless people etc, to have shelter. He feeds them and preaches the gospel to them. This is what I call a real man of God.

What are your thoughts on this?
