When EV's are hazardous I'd think car makers can refuse to comply with Biden's mandate,and refuse to pay the fines.

I saw news coverage of a hugely flooded area not long ago. Cars swamped. But down the middle of a new street 'river' a helicopter crew caught sight of a Tesla driving through as if it were a motorboat.

I met a guy charging in a target parking lot and he stated realistically his car was good for 220 miles in freeway driving, he stated his car takes roughly 60 minutes to go from 10% to 100% and that he has to run around for 30 minutes to find a charger on long commutes, only to find them in use

Who in the world wants to deal with that, and the price is more expensive for electricity vs fuel

Nothing like the good Ole gas station for 5 minutes, and your good to go for another 300+ miles

No wonder the cars are pulling up at the charging stations which now won't charge because of the cold..

Great idea. Other than that they don't work well in winter when it's cold and you need to use the heater. And in summer when you need to use the a/c. And when you need to go somewhere and get home again..... using the heating or cooling systems slashes your available range.

Oh-- and who doesn't enjoy waiting in line for hours so you can super-charge your car in only 45 minutes?

And the electricity price at these charges is much higher than charging at home. And not everyone hs a house to charge up at. lots live in apartments-condominiums, no private charging for them.
Even charging at home costs more than gasoline.
