Evidence To Be Seen - Part 2, In Scripture

While folks like @Behold lean heavily on faith and against works, James does talk about the union of faith and works in 2:18. The virtue of works is the objective evidence of its existence. While God rested on the 7th Day, we are not deists. God continues to work, to show his faithfulness. My thesis is we should not abandon the field of evidence to our adversaries; that there is overwhelming evidence of God's existence and grace-filled character.

In Part 1, Evidence To Be Seen, I compiled evidence of God's existence and glory outside of Scripture. Here I want to turn to the evidence in Scripture.

Don’t believe me unless I carry out my Father’s work. But if I do his work, believe in the evidence of the miraculous works I have done, even if you don’t believe me. Then you will know and understand that the Father is in me, and I am in the Father.”
John 10:37-38 (NLT)

If Jesus is telling us to fact check him, there must be facts to check. After saying these words, the greatest evidence is his own resurrection. Starting with Genesis, the first miracle is Creation, itself, something (material) from nothing. Please help me compile the Scriptural evidence of miracles of God. What are the other recorded miracles in Scripture?

Stop being dishonest to try to get a few clicks on your Grace Denying Thread.

"behold " is not against works........"behold" has never said anything like that, liar.

"behold" teaches that Jesus is Salvation, and not your filthy self righteous works, Wrangler.

So, work on your honesty, as it needs some help..........and also learn to have some Faith in Christ to keep you saved and stop teaching a Cross denying gospel of works, as that is the devil's gospel.

After you have received from God, the "gift of Salvation" and are Born again., then you are to do this..


"get water baptized"..

"present your body as a living sacrifice"

"mortify your members"

"study to show yourself approved"., and does not mean a COMMENTARY or a GreeK Lexicon that you can't READ.

"find a good body of believers, who believe the Holy BIBLE as their final authority"

"stay away from any group that teaches that you can lose your salvation"... or teach that "water is required to be saved"..

"stay away from any group (church) that puts {>>>too much emphasis<<<} on "gifts of the spirit", "the baptism with the spirit"..."Acts 2:38", or "the prosperity gospel". = AVOID

LIVE IN THIS VERSE ... : Hebrews 13:9.

Romans 3:21-28

And remember, .... you do all that and more, BECAUSE YOU ALREADY HAVE Salvation, not to try to get it, earn it , or keep it.

JESUS< is Salvation., not your works., Wrangler.

Being born again is the ONLY PROOF a person has God's Salvation.

Works prove NOTHING, as the Devil and His deceived FAKE spiritual fruit.

The Devil does not come to you in a red suit, he comes to you with bible verses and talks mostly about

Here is a typical lying devil, who is deceived.

They will say...>"God saved you, so that you can go now and keep the Law"

Yet, "the power of sin is the Law, the law is the power of sin"

And... "you are not under the law, but under Grace"

and.. "Jesus is the end of the Law, for RIGHTEOUSNESS"

And, "Jesus came to free you from the CURSE of the LAW"..

So, a DEVIL comes to you to put you back under the LAW"

Believe me when i say , JESUS would never have said go ye into all the world preaching the social gospel
which says ye dont have to beleive on me , just do some good works .

Not everyone will accept the invitation that is the Gospel of the Grace of God.
