When I consider how the Lord Jesus made himself nothing and took on the nature of a servant to submit to the Father, how great His love for us to go through a such of life and bear the curse of sin, I am reminded of my role as a wife.

A husband is commanded to lay down his life for his wife. We wives can be like Jesus by imitating Jesus' submission and revering our husbands. We too are called to be living sacrifices.

For me it looks like one more meal, one more chore, one more act of service and love, giving myself fully to my husband. It paints a picture of Christ's love. It pleases God when we serve our husbands and obey them. It sends a profound message to the world. It prevents God's Word from being blasphemed (Titus 2:5).

Remember that the word "Talent" in scripture has the meaning of a measured weight to which a value is placed upon, i.e. money which was given to the Good and Faithful servants to trade with because of their ability to make money.

Because of the misuse of the word "talent" by biblical teachers it now has the meaning of "a natural ability" which if applied to the Parable of the Talents changes the context and message contained within that parable which was all about Satan's plans for the time period he is imprisoned in the Bottomless pit.

The picture and words in the picture in the post above gives the wrong message.

Instead of the word "talents" it should have used the word "abilities" which for a Christian person are often expressed as "spiritual giftings" given by God to enhance the person's ability to present the Gospel to others.

It may be a small issue for some but, being a good and faithful servant of Christ, does not mean that we should use "talents" to oppress others by trading with the talents that Satan has given his good and faithful servants.

Shalom

That correction is...pedantic. Sorry, brother

"Pedantic is an insulting word used to describe someone who annoys others by correcting small errors, caring too much about minor details, or emphasizing their own expertise especially in some narrow or boring subject matter."

There's nothing wrong with using talent instead of natural ability in the post.

Sadly the woke ideology and the liberal propaganda machine is taking this away from women, and trying to replace them with men who say they are women.

its like women have no say. And even when they try to come out and be who they are. They are attacked again.

This correction is also pedantic. Sorry, sister.
