I propagated some honeysuckle cuttings from a friend's mature honeysuckle vines a year and a half or so ago. Once then grew roots, I out them into the ground along a lattice wall in my side yard. I thought they might not make it, but then they just took off and have done what honeysuckle vines do. They bloomed a few months ago with mostly yellow and some white flowers and smelled amazing. But now, they're popping out these totally different looking blooms and flowers. They're whitish and pink... just beautiful, and bigger/thicker than honeysuckle. They're almost bell shaped...? Idk how this happened, though. lol

Can anyone help me identify what these are?

Does it have the honeysuckle fragrance?

I think I've seen something like that growing along the river here, but it doesn't have any scent.

They look a bit like my snail-vines. Do the flowers bloom more than that? Snail-vines have purple-white flowers, but they bloom out like...

The flowers are up high on the lattice, but no scent from that distance. Honeysuckle would give a scent even at that distance. What I can't figure out is where they cane from. lol

They haven't bloomed out any further yet. I only noticed them 2 days ago and they still look the same as in the photos.

Do you think some seeds could have blown in and got started within your Honeysuckle vines?

Btw, if you want, try Passion Flower vines....they are gorgeous flowers. I do love Honeysuckle....I remember them from Pennsylvania.

Years ago I saw a Passion Flower vine nearby. I gave some seeds to a friend that wanted them. But she went away and asked her husband to water it. He forgot....they died.

Meanwhile the seeds must have blown across the street from where I originally saw them! Because they started to grow over an existing bunch of vines. Actually they were much prettier than the existing vines....but their gardener tore out the Passion Flower vines.

Could they be some sort of trumpet vine which got in with the honeysuckle? Like this:

Same experience here. After the original croaked, I planted a Roguchi's Clematis in that spot the next spring. But later that year, Passion Vine seedlings popped up in the lawn, in the iceplant and creeping phlox ground covers, in the barberi bushes... It overwhelmed the clematis arbor (though I can still see the purple bell-shaped clematis flowers poking through), it's overwhelming the mailbox, and is currently threatening the utility boxes.

While I'm at it, there is something else that has popped up amongst one of my flower beds. I'm thinking it may just be a weed, but it's kinda pretty. lol
But idk what it is. Anyone know? lol

Really? The more colorful cultivars of the species are quite popular here in the States for planting around mailboxes and such.

I do see a white version that seems to grow wild around here.
Yes most of the ones in our hedgerows are white. But they are pretty.
