If my family are unbelievers and are the cause then first Id stay away from my family... God wont just take contol of you but work with you to gain control..... you should either want or being willing to want God to use your life however He sees fit and that He has free reign to do His will thru your life knowing its for your best.... whatever He sees fit to do that you desire that again knowing its for your best and much better than you yourself can do... but you have to really truly want this.... wanting God to show you your faults in this matter so you can work towards a fix with God leading the way... wanting to do whats right..... sometimes we have to be so tired of how we have gotten our life that were willing to do whatever it takes to be in Gods will.... God always always works towards the end result of His will for you... but it also takes Faith in trusting God to do whatever is right knowing He wants you to be equiped to do His will thru your life.... knowing He wants your best to be a strong branch to do His will.

You say your bitter, we sometimes have a hard time letting go of some stuff but as long as were wanting to let go God will work with you... sometimes just asking God what he wants you to do first if the mess seems to overwhelming at the start... it can seem lonely waiting for God but God is more interested in getting you aligned with His will than blessing you with a job or car or whatever you want.... like he says, find out who I am first and all these things will be added to you.... spending time with God is the key... asking the Holy Spirit to let you know what things in your life you need to either stop or get rid of... He will give you feelings inside that you can tell what he is pointing out to you.....

Knowing God wants whats not only best but cares for you and wants to be in your life completely in all things..... when God lights our path most times its only for the next step because he wants to build a solid foundation for you one step at a time...

I will pray for His will in your life, but also that what I said above was pleasing to God for my life.... when I ask God for wisdom to deal with stuff like this I hope that I used that wisdom correctly in the things I said. And that Ive done right.... pleasing God....
