My name is Shane. I’m a follower of Jesus Christ, a husband, a father, a survivor, and a composer. I come from a background of deep trauma—abuse, addiction, rejection, and religious confusion. I was exposed to pornography at age 12 by a violent stepfather, and for decades, that sin dragged me through shame, secrecy, and self-destruction.
But Jesus didn’t leave me in the dark. He stepped into the pit I was drowning in—not to hand me a Bible and a smile, but to tear down every lie the enemy built in me. He broke me to save me. And now, I live to tell the truth.
I’m not a pastor or a scholar. I’m a man who’s been wrecked by grace and called to speak boldly. I compose instrumental music that reflects my journey—cinematic, orchestral, heavy with sorrow and hope. I write poetry, theology, and reflections soaked in Scripture and forged in real pain.
I joined this forum to connect with the Body—not the polished part, but the remnant. The ones who’ve walked through fire and still cling to the cross. If my story or my work can help even one soul feel less alone, it’s worth every scar.
