There are so many ways to gamble these days! Casinos that used to be found
only in Las Vegas now seem to be everywhere. People gamble on sporting
events, at racetracks, and in state lotteries. Others risk their hard-earned
money in the stock market, which is always a gamble! But even if you have
never placed a bet, if you are not saved, you are gambling with eternity.

You might be thinking, “I don’t use that word saved,” but I wonder if at
some time in your life you’ve sung that most beloved of all Christian hymns,
“Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me.” You may
have sung the song, but are you saved? We call the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior;
well, the purpose of a Savior is to save people! Has He saved you?

The Bible says, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved
(Acts 16:31). Now, if you are wondering what it is specifically that you have
to believe about Christ to be saved, the Apostle Paul told the Corinthians,

“I declare unto you The Gospel Which I preached unto you...By Which
also ye Are Saved
...how that Christ died for our sins According To The
Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day”

(I Corinthians 15:1-4).

Here the Bible clearly says that the way to be saved from your sins is to believe
that Christ died to pay for your sins. So the only question now is, do you believe
God when He says your sins are paid for? Do you trust Him when He says that?
If you do, the Bible says that you are saved!

If you are not sure what I’m trying to say, suppose for a moment that you have
a serious gambling problem, and that you have racked up a million dollars in
gambling debts. One day some very bad men threaten to kill you unless you
pay your debt. Naturally, you are very afraid, because you don’t have the money.
But just then a friend emails you to say, “I heard about your problem, and I paid
your debt.”

Now you have to ask yourself, “Do I really believe my friend when he says he paid
my debt? Do I trust him when he says my debt is paid?” If you don’t believe him,
you’ll have to keep trying to pay your debt on your own. But if you do trust your
friend when he says he paid your debt, you’ll thank him for it, and simply rest in
what he did for you.

That’s all God asks of you to be saved from your sins. Believe that Christ paid
for your sins, and rest in what He did for you. If you’ll do that, the Bible says
you are saved. If you won’t, well, you’ll just have to go on trying to pay for your
sins in your own way, by being good, by not being bad, or by being religious—
something the Bible says you can never do:

“But to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him that Justifieth
the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness” (Romans 4:5).
“For By Grace are ye Saved Through faith; and that not of yourselves:
It Is The Gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast”
(Ephesians 2:8,9).
“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but According
To His Mercy He Saved us” (Titus 3:5).

If you are still not sure what I am trying to say, I have a little exercise for you.
Later today, or perhaps tomorrow, you are going to do some good thing, or
avoid doing some sinful thing. At that moment, you will be tempted to think,
“I just helped pay my way to heaven.” When that happens, stop yourself, and
say,

“No, the Bible says that the only way I can get to heaven is by believing that
Christ died for my sins.” Just keep that up, and eventually you’ll learn to trust
what Christ did on the cross of Calvary to pay for your sins, and rest completely
in what He did for you.

They say life is a gamble, and I suppose in many ways it is. But don’t gamble
with eternal life. The stakes are much too high. I promise you this: A thousand
years from this moment, you will remember this moment. And whether you
remember it with joy or eternal regret depends on the decision you must make
right now to trust Christ as your Savior.

Most people really don't gamble with it Grace, they simply refuse it. I don't understand it, because I believe that God gives the best life possible to those of us who obey it, yet few choose to. Why would anyone choose the temporary enjoyment of sin, over the promise God made us? I guess it boils down to they really do not believe God exists, that seems to be the only thing that explains it.

It's fascinating how beliefs and values shape our decisions.

And your point about the allure of temporary enjoyment versus the promises of God is thought-provoking. People navigate life in such diverse ways, and it's a puzzle, isn't it? Faith is a powerful force, but it takes many forms.

By the way, ever thought about taking a break from the deep thoughts and trying out a bit of live casino online free action? Sometimes a little fun can add some spice to the journey!

Dear Grace ambassador,
Jesus Christ is the Savior and He alone is the one who saves us. He decides when a person will be saved - mankind has no say in the matter.

In this age, Christ is only saving the Elect who have been chosen for this blessing from the foundation of the world. He will save no one else during this age.

2Tim 1:9 who did save us, and did call with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, that was given to us in Christ Jesus, before the times of the ages

Eph 1:11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

Eph 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

However, in the final age, Christ will save the rest of mankind before they perish (penalty of sin) under the Law:

Mat 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law: justice, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

Phi 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 and that every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

No person can have faith in Christ in their "marred" created spiritual state:

Jer 18:4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.

Rom 3:10 As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one: 11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

For this reason, Christ must come to a person and give them the Holy Spirit. When Christ comes, He comes solely because it was His decision to come to them at that time. The person will not ask Him to come (Rom 3:10), nor will Christ ask their permission to give them the Spirit. He gives them Spirit because of His grace - it is a free gift.

After Christ gives the person the Spirit, the only decision the person will make when they hear the Gospel (via the foolishness of preaching) is to accept Jesus as their Lord.

1Cor 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Spirit.

This is how Christ saves a person and why salvation is a certainty for all mankind.

However, the pathway the Elect will travel to salvation in this age is much more complicated than what I described above. For an Elect person to be saved, Christ will first give them the Early Rain of the Spirit which will call them out from the world and into the church. But because the Early Rain is a small amount of the Spirit, it will leave them spiritually blind and carnally minded. In this condition, Satan will come to them and plant the spirit of anti-Christ within them. This will cause the Abomination of Desolation to occur within God's temple (the believer). After this occurs, the believer will accept Satan's "another gospel" (2Cor 11:4) which will cause them to fall from grace and lose their salvation.

This spiritual process which I described above happens to all new believers shortly after they are given the Early Rain of the Spirit. This is same spiritual process that Christ teaches below:

Mat 12:43 When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. 44 Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished. 45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself SEVEN other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation.

The spiritual symbol of an unclean spirit represents a spirit which teaches Satan's false truth through lies and deceptions.

Since a new believer remains spiritually blind (Mark 8:21-25) after receiving the Early Rain of the Spirit, they cannot replace their worldly false beliefs with the truth of Christ. ONE unclean spirit leaves but comes back with SEVEN more. The number "seven" represents perfection. In this case, the number seven represents the perfection of Satan's lies/deceptions which come to a believer by the indwelling of the spirit of anti-Christ. Now, instead of ONE unclean spirit within the believer, they now have EIGHT. The number eight is a spiritual symbol which represents a new spiritual condition. In this case, the new spiritual condition is worse than the first. Paul calls this worsened spiritual condition a "man of sin".

Mat 22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

Since "many" are called into the church but only a "few" of them are chosen for salvation in this age, most people in the apostate churches of the world (all 2,000 denominations/sects) will die in their sins. For those who have been chosen though, Christ will "come again" (the second coming of Christ) to His Elect and pour out the Latter Rain of the Spirit. The Latter Rain is the Baptism of the Spirit and is what the Apostles received on the Day of Pentecost. After an Elect believer receives the Latter Rain, their spiritual blindness will be healed and they will then be able to "see" the Abomination of Desolation that had previously occurred within themselves (Mat 24:15). After this occurs, judgment will immediately fall on the Elect believer to remove the spirit of anti-Christ from within them and to destroy their worsened carnal nature (Mat 24:40-41). After their judgment is complete, the Elect person will be converted and permanently saved.

As for the "many" in the apostate church who were not chosen, they will receive their portion with the unbelievers in the final age (Luke 12:46). But before they perish, Christ will have mercy upon them and give them the faith they need to be saved (Mat 23:23). After the last person is saved, this scripture below will be testified to be true:

1Tim 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; 4 who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

The salvation of mankind is not a "gamble" as you and your "works" based belief system teaches you. Salvation is a certainty for every person who has ever lived and it happens solely by the work of Christ. We are His "workmanship" (Eph 2:8-10) and because of such, no man has anything to boast about concerning their salvation. We merely need to have patience (one of the fruits of the spirit) and wait on the Lord to complete His work within all mankind.

After Christ's work of saving mankind is finished (1John 4:14), Christ will deliver up the Kingdom of Heaven to His Father and God will be "all in all" (1Cor 15:20-28).

Dear Grace ambassador,
All mankind is eternally condemned because all mankind has sinned. The penalty of sin is death. No one can escape paying that penalty. Because we can't escape it, Christ will see to it that all mankind is "born again" as a new creation. The spiritual process of changing mankind from being a child of the devil into being a child of God is called conversion.

The old vessel is destroyed and the new vessel is created:

Jer 18:4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.

Also, "righteous judgment" does not omit mercy and faith (Mat 23:23) as you believe.

Why is it that you believe Christ is going to omit mercy and faith when He judges the lost in the final age?

Scripture clearly says that Christ will not pervert judgment as mankind does:

Job 34:12 Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.

Prov 28:5 Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.

From the Lord's perspective, judgment is good and righteous because it is a necessary component of our salvation:

Isa 1:27 Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.

Jer 4:2 And thou shalt swear, The LORD liveth, in truth, IN JUDGMENT, and in righteousness; and the nations shall bless themselves in him, and in him shall they glory.

Psa 33:5 He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.

Without judgment, mankind's "marred" spiritual nature will continue to live and cause us to keep sinning. For that reason, Christ will slay all mankind with His "sword":

Mat 26:52 Then said Jesus unto him, put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

The symbol "sword" represents the Word of God. It is the Word of God (Christ) who destroys the child of the devil so that the child of God can be born.

This verse below teaches that same truth:

Isa 66:16 For by fire (judgment) and by his sword (Word of God) will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many (all mankind).

Even John the Baptist understood that mankind must be converted to be saved:

Mat 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit, AND WITH FIRE: 12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

The baptism of the Holy Spirit gives us a new birth as a child of God. The baptism of Fire (Judgment) destroys our marred vessel which is a child of the devil.

Also, the verse you quoted on the "day of salvation" is referring to the salvation of the Elect in this age. That is the acceptable time because those who are saved now will have life during the ages and their judgment will not be done in wrath. They are blessed. But that blessing comes to the Elect only to satisfy the purposes of God - mankind has no ability to bless themselves.

Rom 9:11 (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth.

Your understanding of scripture is fitted into your belief that each person must contribute something toward their own salvation. However, scripture teaches just the opposite and says that mankind cannot contribute anything toward their own salvation. Because no one has the ability to contribute anything, everyone must wait on the Lord to do all the work. His work is spiritual and happens "within" mankind. His work is called the baptism of the Holy Spirit AND the baptism of Fire.
