God implants faith in those He knows are going to desire to believe in the Lord Jesus. He does not implant faith in those He already knows will never desire to believe in the Lord Jesus. I realize there are passages that seem to refute the concept of losing one’s salvation, but they are actually passages that confirm salvation cannot be lost.
One issue should be clearly understandable, which is that eternal life cannot be withdrawn, otherwise it would not be “eternal life.” Such would assume that God is not omniscient, He not knowing if one will believe or not, thinking God would withdraw eternal life.
One can believe in Christ without losing faith, but one cannot grow in Christ without the proper understanding concerning the truth of this issue; for all other spiritual growth doctrines rest upon it!
