Have you ever seen those that fall out with Christianity and have no good thing to say. Some go as far as to say the bible is man made and doesn't work and men have pulled the wool over the eyes of Christianity. I have encountered them through the years and have to say these types have never been taught by God. They may have found some kind of religious pageantry but never had the time to get a good God education. Some may even be born again (God knows), but never was able to put two and two together. Sad fact is we have a world full of these type's and most seem very proud to be ignorant of the things of God. The scriptures call them fools; "the fool has said in his heart there is no God."

Being taught by God will be what fix's you and establish's you to be stable in your understanding,
(Romans 16:25) 25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,

Why are some taught and some not? first: when being taught by God; you must read the scriptures. Even if you get nothing from them you read them and listen. A word on listening; you ever talk to someone who cannot allow you to finish a sentence without interrupting the conversation. That is called not listening! We all have trouble at times and go to God in prayer, but the point is if your always talking and needing something, you cannot hear, you don't listen. My Mother used to tell me "you don't listen boy." You know what she was right I didn't listen, and anyone that won't give attention to listening will have a harder time hearing what is being said.

Second: when being taught by God is; you wait. "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their stength," the scripture says. Waiting on God, I know we wait for alot of things but you ever consider waiting on God to see what he is going to teach you next. The scriptures say we are taught "line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little and there a little." You ever think about the waiting moments of this process to be taught by God.

Third: when being taught by God is; you must understand the HolySpirit (who is your teacher) is very much a gentleman. He will not override your understanding and knowledge. You are free to be anything you want to be. I have heard people say "well if I'm wrong the HolySpirit will straighten me out." Your in for a long ride because tge HolySpirit will wait until you are able to yield yourself to him to be taught the things of God. Why can some people be taught only at a certain level in God, because they cannot yield to the HolySpirit which is proper scripture language for being taught the deep things of God.

Fourth: when being taught by God is; you must follow the theme of the bible which is "Christ in you." It is the deepest understanding a believer can come to. You cannot get any deeper in God knowledge than Christ in you. You cannot pass it off as just another part of your bible. Your bible was written and inspired because of Christ, and now we have the only message in the all of scriptures that will ever matter which is "Christ in you the hope of glory." You must wait and listen, yielded to the HolySpirit to see what he has to say about it. There is no other way in Christianity to move on in God without listening to the HolySpirit. The HolySpirit will teach you the things of God, but the prime ministry of the HolySpirit is to teach the believer "the Christ that is in them."
