Romans 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
In these days . . .
God's Righteousness is revealed through faith. Those without faith do not see it. These who believe, they receive His righteousness, and the just live by faith.
God's wrath, however, is not from faith, and is revealed directly from heaven.
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
God's wrath is revealed against the evil that men do,
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
The opposite of believing, knowing God exists, everyone does, but emptying the mind. And God darkens the heart.
2 Corinthians 3:16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.
The heart . . . when it shall turn to the Lord, the veil is removed.
Or, when it turns away, the heart is darkened.
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts,
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness,
Either filled in the revelation of righteousness with righteousness, or filled in the revelation of wrath with unrighteousness.
In time, wrath will fall upon the earth.
Revelation 6
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
