Good Bible Reading Plans

How do you want to do this, @Mayflower ? Do you want to start a new post in Bible Study when you find a study and have questions or have everyone share their thoughts about it for the day, etc? :) Looks like you're leading!

Might take a day or two to get everyone onboard first.

I invited you to a study if you want to check your alerts. And I think when I did a couple with friends before, it has a section to share your thoughts. If there are questions, I usually answered those. I started it for February 1st, since the 21 day challenge starts to do a devo a day (you get an online badge when you finish, Nancy. It is really good incentive).

It is fun to read Bible with friends.

If someone wants to continue doing this accountablity Bible study, we can take turns leading/picking studies!!! This seemed like a good one to start...

Well I'm currently in Isaiah and reading through the whole Bible again for a second time, but if there's anything particular that you want to study I'm game. :)

Yes, good idea. I have no children but, it takes me time to really concentrate so I have to read verses several times, kind of like a lot of the posts on here, lol.

Lol. Yeh...and that is my thing. Even devoes seem to have a lot of opinion. Why I want to find some topical lists with just the scriptures. Fluff just reminded me of how awesome youversion is...I hadnt done a study in awhile. I just finished one I hadnt looked at in a couple months.

I just got a new Bible too. The Message translation. It reads like a Children's Bible almost, so can read straight from it to the kids. But also, just falling in love with Bible reading again. Just has been a long time. I have hundreds of scriptures memorized, but if they don't get to the heart or drawing you closer to God, it isnt going to do anything. Almost feel like I am coming out of this dry season and think Ive just been putting too much into other peoples' words rather then God's words.

I know I chose a woman study @mjrhealth XD but if you have youversion, there are plenty to choose from and we can do more then one.

With these, the cool part is you don't hsve to be on the same time. And if you miss a day, or the group ends, the plan just stays open with you till you decide to finish it. Just the cool part of a group is you can write your thoughts on it too and respond to other comments.
