WE should all fully support whatever God is doing and rejoice in it as he is the righteous judge of all the earth.

As an example, God chose Cyrus in the OT, a heathen king to bless Israel.

The Proclamation of Cyrus

22 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and also put it in writing, saying,

23 Thus says Cyrus king of Persia:
All the kingdoms of the earth the Lord God of heaven has given me. And He has commanded me to build Him a [a]house at Jerusalem which is in Judah. Who is among you of all His people? May the Lord his God be with him, and let him go up!

God changes times, seasons and people's hearts.
Did God choose Mr Putin? or, let me see, who else shall I pull out of the hat?....Mr Hitler?.......or do we say the reason Mr Trump and Mr Putin have a 'working relationship' is because God is involved?
Does God micro-manage the mens interactions?

Simonides is right regard the conclusion that Mr Trump is not truthful. I have noted that from before his first Presidency.

God chooses people for His purposes, good and bad people. Only God is good. Some are chosen for judgement.
You know the world is a fallen and evil place, it is not like heaven on earth.

Depends on where you are in the relationship. What did the people living in Sodom think of what happened to them afterwards in hell?
From where I stand, I would by God's mercy been with Abraham and not Lot. Lot suffered a lot, Peter called Lot righteous, God preserved Lot but still look what happened. Lot chose to part ways with Abraham and live in Sodom.

Hitler God appointed. If you think things just happen without purpose or meaning, then you can have no hope in God or the life to come.

Satan does not choose the destiny of this world.

Hmm, does God micromanage everything men do?

Have to say yes. 'all things' God does control. God upholds all things and in Him all things consist.
Like Jesus said for believers in Him, rejoice that your name is written in heaven.

Ephesians 1:11
In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,

Romans 8:28
And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Romans 11
32 For God has [h]committed them all to disobedience, that He might have mercy on all.

33 Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!

34 “For who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has become His counselor?”
35 “Or who has first given to Him
And it shall be repaid to him?”
36 For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen.

I think you should give him a chance and see how it turns out.
My 401K nearly doubled under Trump the first time. The cost of living was much better along with the tax break he gave us. The southern border was more secure as well. Then covid hit (which I'm convinced was no accident or coincidence that it happened during Trump's last year in office) and America entered the Twilight Zone, and then the swamp went to work trying to destroy Trump and America!

He's not even in office yet and his ALL HELL WILL BREAK LOOSE words have moved the terrorist group of Hamas to want to discuss the freeing of the hostages.

Reminds me of the hostages in Iran in the Carter Admin.
Reagan came in and they were released right away. Carter just couldn't do it. He was not respected.

The world understands that Trump means what he says and what he says is mostly always right...I can't think of something important that he's been wrong about - although there must be something. Or, maybe not.

People here in Europe don't understand about spilling the milk to see if the kittens lap it up...
or floating a balloon, so I find it very frustrating when I hear that he wants to buy Greenland - and the such -
but his method surely works very well.

Newsom should be sued over what is happening in LA. 5 years ago Trump told him to get more reservoirs. The left has become not only odd (and more) in their ideology....but a destructive force - literally.

Freewill allows whichever citizens of the Universe to make choices. Consequences ensue.
Satan made choices before the creation of the World. He has influenced us to make choices also. There are consequences.

Aren't you glad though that God showed to you His mercy and opened your heart to heed Him.

13 And on the Sabbath day we went out of the city to the riverside, where prayer was customarily made; and we sat down and spoke to the women who met there.

14 Now a certain woman named Lydia heard us. She was a seller of purple from the city of Thyatira, who worshiped God. The Lord opened her heart to heed the things spoken by Paul.

15 And when she and her household were baptized, she begged us, saying, “If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come to my house and stay.” So she persuaded us.

He shows mercy to all ....and calls and chooses all. The question is and remains dynamically open, how do we respond.

Those who love, threaten and perpetrate revenge with violence are immature and have not seen or known the Kingdom of God

Nahum 1

1.A prophecy(A) concerning Nineveh.(B) The book of the vision(C) of Nahum the Elkoshite.

The Lord’s Anger Against Nineveh

2 The Lord is a jealous(D) and avenging God;
the Lord takes vengeance(E) and is filled with wrath.
The Lord takes vengeance on his foes
and vents his wrath against his enemies.(F)
3 The Lord is slow to anger(G) but great in power;
the Lord will not leave the guilty unpunished.(H)
His way is in the whirlwind(I) and the storm,(J)
and clouds(K) are the dust of his feet.
4 He rebukes(L) the sea and dries it up;(M)
he makes all the rivers run dry.
Bashan and Carmel(N) wither
and the blossoms of Lebanon fade.
5 The mountains quake(O) before him
and the hills melt away.(P)
The earth trembles(Q) at his presence,
the world and all who live in it.(R)
6 Who can withstand(S) his indignation?
Who can endure(T) his fierce anger?(U)
His wrath is poured out like fire;(V)
the rocks are shattered(W) before him.

7 The Lord is good,(X)
a refuge in times of trouble.(Y)
He cares for(Z) those who trust in him,(AA)
8 but with an overwhelming flood(AB)
he will make an end of Nineveh;
he will pursue his foes into the realm of darkness.

9 Whatever they plot(AC) against the Lord
he will bring[a] to an end;
trouble will not come a second time.
10 They will be entangled among thorns(AD)
and drunk(AE) from their wine;
they will be consumed like dry stubble.[b](AF)
11 From you, Nineveh, has one come forth
who plots evil against the Lord
and devises wicked plans.

12 This is what the Lord says:
“Although they have allies and are numerous,
they will be destroyed(AG) and pass away.
Although I have afflicted you, Judah,
I will afflict you no more.(AH)
13 Now I will break their yoke(AI) from your neck
and tear your shackles away.”(AJ)

14 The Lord has given a command concerning you, Nineveh:
“You will have no descendants to bear your name.(AK)
I will destroy the images(AL) and idols
that are in the temple of your gods.
I will prepare your grave,(AM)
for you are vile.”

15 Look, there on the mountains,
the feet of one who brings good news,(AN)
who proclaims peace!(AO)
Celebrate your festivals,(AP) Judah,
and fulfill your vows.
No more will the wicked invade you;(AQ)
they will be completely destroyed.[c]

Read it well pepper. Not as those who justified the crucifixion of Jesus from the scriptures!
