Incandescent light bulb ban goes into effect next week

Some critics of the ban are calling it government overreach, saying consumers should have the right to choose.

LED's and CFB's, which contain mercury vapor and make for a hazardous environment if they break in your home, especially for babies, children, people with breathing disorders, and pets, will be the only legal bulbs able to be manufactured and sold.

Because they save the consumer money! And they're (not) safe for the environment.

Imagine an authoritarian dictatorship evolves in the name of saving the environment?

This government wants to ban gas ovens when the White House and Congressional building kitchens have gas ovens.

This is why the phrase, "government intelligence and oversight committees", have been a punchline for years.
