During a SWAT operation linked to the disappearance of 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie, a person reportedly shot himself while three others were taken into custody. A witness claimed to see a shooting, although authorities are yet to confirm this news.
According to authorities and witnesses, the operation took place in the dead of night on Friday, February 13, in Tucson's Shadow Hills neighborhood.
A resident of Shadow Hills informed News 4 Tucson that she witnessed three individuals being apprehended during the operation. And a fellow neighbor's unverified report alleged that another individual "shot himself" as law enforcement descended on the area. Pima County Sheriff's Department has been contacted for comment. This comes after an ex-FBI agent revealed the hidden codeword that Savannah used in her message to the kidnappers.
