We are at least a day ahead, so Happy Mother's Day to all the moms here today. I hope your day today or tomorrow is filled with blessings and peace, and you have a well-deserved day filled with family and friends and blessings from the Lord. You sure deserve it!

Mother's Day may be kinda tough on my wife this year, as it is the first one since our son died.

Our other son and his wife are going to take us out to our favorite Mexican restaurant.

My mom died year before last.
Dad has moved closer to me. He is having a great time between activities at our church and in-laws at holidays.

So, a somewhat subdued celebration this year for my wife who was a stepmother for my son. (She couldn't have any birth children)

But we have nieces....who treat our house as if it was their own. And a sister who is similar in age to my son.
Lots of parenting going on around here....
