We don’t need a new God, and we don’t need a new Bible; all we need is a revelation into our Father’s grace, which is where He is hidden because of the blindness of our minds!

"And not as Moses, which put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same veil untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which veil is done away in Christ.
But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the veil is upon their heart”
(2 Cor. 3:13–15).

God has never hidden His Son from anyone or anything but has totally
and fully revealed Him in all His glory. The veil is over our minds and is by no means over our Father’s Son. Our Father is not ashamed of His Son, therefore putting a veil over Him. What is wrong with us? Our minds are the problem that keeps us from entering into the revelation of Christ the Son as written to us by theApostle Paul.
“Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the veil shall be taken away” (2 Cor. 3:16).

When the mind turns to the Lord, the veil will be removed as the Holy Spirit begins to reveal Christ in the believer. The eternal ministry of the Holy Spirit is to reveal Christ in you! But believers make the Holy Spirit’s ministry ineffective simply because they do not know that the person of Christ lives in them! So what is
the answer to the dilemma of believers not knowing Christ lives in them? Very simply, someone needs to tell the believer, and this is exactly what Paul does in each of his epistles. This same ministry is given to every born-again believer who knows about the in-Christ position.

“But even unto this day,
when Moses is read, the
veil is upon their heart” (2
Cor. 3:13–15).

In essence, this means that if the
believer resorts to the law or anything other than grace, it is the same as putting the veil back on the mind so that it will remain blind! Putting the veil back on is an attempt to look at “that which is abolished” as the last part of 2 Corinthians 3:13 states. The veil kept the children of Israel from seeing the end of the law! The law was the veil that blinded their minds so that they could not see Christ as the Son.

Grace is the only thing that will remove the veil and bring the “I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son”–grace relationship (Heb. 1:5) into focus for the born-again believer. Without grace, the believer has no understanding of
the Father-son relationship of the believer. It is as though God has entered into the realm of grace and has closed this realm in upon Himself so that He cannot be found except through understanding the grace relaionship!

This means that none of the things of Hebrews 1:1 (Old Testament methods of “time past”) can be used to find Him!

“God, who at sundry
times and in divers man-
ners spake in time past
unto the fathers by the
prophets” (Heb. 1:1).

For Israel 'grace' had become a "get-out-of-jail-free-card" grazing in the back paddock. 'Grace' had become presumption. The writers of the NT promoted grace far exceeding any prophet in the OT perhaps with the exception of Isaiah, but went to great pains to ensure every reader knew exactly what it meant. It was God's gift of righteousness to the believer....

Romans 5:15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
17 For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

...it was the progressive work of sanctification in the heart, mind, and soul...the infusing of the love of God through the power of the holy Spirit manifested in the life of the believer...

Phil.1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
7 ¶ Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.
8 For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.
9 ¶ And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;
10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;
11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

So what are these fruits of righteousness that are to abound in everyone who believes? Are they not those qualities of character and well doing that characterise a new nature and newly created lifestyle through the power of God?

1 Cor. 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
9 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.

10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)
11 Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.
12 For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;
13 Whiles by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men;
14 And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you.
15 Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.

In all of life natural law governs all things. One natural law is the law of love that reveals that self-sacrificial giving ensures the well-being of all living things. This works in the church as it does elsewhere. If such grace and the gift of righteousness does not change the life to such an extent that the selfish becomes generous and giving, then it accomplishes nothing...and he who did not do this for the least of these my brethren, hath not done so unto me.

Must be me, cos I disagree.
God is not hidden. We may not be able to see him, or physically hear him,but God is discernable to all who are seeking him.
For those who are his, the Spirit is living in us, promoting us and interpreting our deepest feelings.

We may be the only manifestation of God to our neighbours. What is it we are projecting to others? Whose character are we revealing?

Thank you, Don is a great writer-teacher who has been in my home many times. I'm not for sure of his age, I believe around eighty. I first met Don 25 years ago through another friend when he came through town having meetings. He is so kind and gentle, a real grandfather type. His understanding of the word comes from many years of experience, study and revelation, he ever so wisely shares with those that want to hear.

Amen to that.
The sad thing is..as the 'old guard' die off, I am not seeing the same anointing on those stepping into their shoes.

So many of these 'oldies' , proved and seasoned ones..'gave themselves to much prayer...it reflected in their very presence, and also upon them as they spoke.
The anointing cannot be faked.
No, 'God has not disappeared'...but, whichever way we cut it...His anointing is not as visible upon His ministries as it used to be...

Thanks for the comments!! As I see the scriptures it was in God's plan for Christ to come out of you as you. With his life and attributes, or should say fruit of the Spirit, Christ lives in the born again and with mind renewal as well as revelation comes through that believers creation as they are. Our expression may not always be perfect but that does not change the fact that we have Christ in us living His life through us as our very own unique expression allows it. I see that as Paul's message to the born again, Gal. 2:20 should be very carefully studied.

20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Reminds me of something someone wiser than me said.:-

"If you can't feel the presence of God, as yourself..'Who moved?' "
