I have, but never acted on it because I'm very happily married to my amazing wife. But I couldn't help but be completely entranced by their wholesomeness, even if they weren't a woman that a "normal" guy would give a second look. In other words, it's not physical.

Might it be my spirit being attracted to theirs? I don't know.

I commend you for your transparency. I know what you mean; I've been there - but I also know my own heart. And I know how "the flesh" infiltrates everything. So ... be on your guard.

You should probably express this to your wife and have her pray over you. As difficult as it may be, that's kind of one of the most open and vulnerable things that you might just have to do.

She might do what another pastors wife did to him. He told the story of being tempted while on vacation near some kind of function and she poured a whole bottle of vegetable oil on him to use as anointing oil and commanded the spirit of lust to leave.

It was Victor Marx, the fastest gun disarm man and black belt, and by the sounds of it, she wasn't weak either.

I love that story.

This reminds me of someone who has been recently trying to tell me that the friend I have; who is not a believer, is going to lead me down the wrong path and that he is not my friend. It's difficult to take this person's warning seriously when they are in an intimate relationship with someone who is not their marriage partner. Makes you wonder where the hades they are getting their common sense from...

If you want to gently correct your brother or sister, make sure you don't have any red flags in your own life.

Oh no, we can't have that; loving another person. Who knows, you might want to have sex with them and then it's that slippery slope religious folk harp on about; ie the road to condemnation.
