To declare, I say, at this time His Righteousness:
that He might be just, and the justifier of Him which
believeth in Jesus” (Rom. 3:24-26).​

Turn on almost any Christian television station, radio station, Facebook or
YouTube channel, and you’ll hear a similar plea: Ask Jesus into your heart,
give your life to Christ, repent of your sins and believe. And what makes
these “gospel” messages similar? It’s the word, your:

your heart, your life, your repentance. But more important than
what these messages contain is what they all curiously seem to omit:

faith in the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ...​

...So what’s so important about faith in the Blood of Christ? Well,
it’s a question of value, by which we mean that, first, it’s a valuable
question. And second, the answer involves the value of faith in His
Blood.

“Your life” is of insufficient value to save you from your sins.
“Your heart,” being desperately wicked and deceitful (Jer. 17:9), is of
even less value, and “your repentance” springs from that very heart...

Romans 8:13 For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.

Just as Jesus had by the spirit to put to death the misdeeds of the body, so should one do the same (if) by the Spirit (Spirit of God allowing him to work in and through us), you will live (having spiritual life).

Also the blood - the Death and Rising of Christ, is very symbolic of what happens to us from our old life to new life in Christ. It also a crucial part of the Gospel.

I had noticed several years ago that many Christians don't realize that 'having faith' means 'having faith in the blood of Jesus'. And that it's for the forgiveness of sin. One time, an evangelist even argued with me about it. Yes, an evangelist, lol. One who traveled the world.
