Hello everyone,I am a university student from Northern Europe, and I am currently doing research on Christianity in the United States, more specifically on the Christian Right with emphasis on the Christian media. I am interested in finding out about the views and opinions of those American Christians who form the main target audience for the Christian media. However, my intention is not to use the material gathered here in my thesis as such, but rather to gather background information and learn more about American Christianity in general. I will post some more specific questions later on, but of course you can reply this message and share your views.

I would greatly appreciate any answers. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. - Amira

Welcome to the forums, Amira. I have no way of knowing what info you would want without questions to answer. I've been a born again Christian since May 18, 1963. I've been to Bible college and have served in every capacity in churches except that of pastor. In all that I've learned how little I know.

Dear Jon-Marc,Yes, I quite agree that Christianity is quite a wide area to discuss without specific questions. I do intend to post some questions on Christianity on the what was it "Questions... something" forum sometime soon. But, for example, I am interested in finding out some more about presuppositional apologetics as a method and just people's views and ideas on, for example, some Christian television shows, atheism and other religions, evolution/i.d./creation, society and other current affairs to better understand evangelical Christianity, and some Biblical references, too.

After all, a lot of this is something one cannot really learn from books or even Christian media. I hope you'll look at my questions once I post them. (May be after Christmas though, since there is always so much to do before Christmas and everyone here is probably busy too. If so, I wish you a Merry Christmas.)
