yes this is such a comfort, and really expresses God's love for us: For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.
For me that verse speaks to the power of God and His purpose and will in accomplishing our salvation!
everyone (that's all of us) born of God (we know this is His doing) overcomes the world! and what is it that gives us the victory - our faith.
