What's a powerful testimony of that mother was able to come to Christ. Sadly, there are many who get completely entangled in serving a false god that cannot talk, feel, and hear.

Awesome testimony! When God deeply loves a person, He sometimes creates trials and tribulations in his or her life in order to have the person's back against the wall, having no one else to run to but to Him.

Hence, I would rather find Christ through the challenges of life than to live life all in joy and miss Heaven!
