How long has God's earthly hosts been trampled upon up and until the present time, and how long will it continue for?

Well the blood of Abel is the recorded start and the establishment of the apostacy in the earth and how long? Ezekiel 38 is still yet to play out and there is very little prophecy in the Bible to be fulfilled. God's people Israel is the Witness for all nations so keep your eyes ever present on them.

a land (Israel) that the LORD your God cares for. The eyes of the LORD your God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year to the end of the year. Deut 11:12

If you ever want to step through Ezekiel 38 (and similar prophecies) I'm willing any time.

Thank you for your kind offer to help me, but the reference is to the "trampling of God's earthly hosts," which can be found with respect to one particular prophecy and since you have not mentioned that particular prophecy my sense is that we will go down unnecessary rabbit holes to come to the right understanding.

Shalom

'God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son....' Hebrews 1:1-2

Yes, but what about before the time before the Son of God, are any of those prophetic words still applicable to this present time?

  • In Revelation 6:10, the martyrs cry out "How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?" This suggests that the martyrs have been waiting for God to judge and avenge them for some time1.
  • In Daniel 8:13, an angel asks "How long will the vision be, concerning the daily sacrifices and the transgression of desolation, the giving of both the sanctuary and the host to be trampled underfoot?" This indicates that God's sanctuary and host have been trampled underfoot for a period of time5.
  • Zechariah 1:12 records the angel asking "How long, O Lord of hosts, will You withhold mercy from Jerusalem and from the cities of Judah, against which You were angry these seventy years?" This implies that God's people had been under judgment and oppression for 70 years1.
So in summary, the Scriptures suggest that God's earthly hosts have been trampled upon and persecuted for an extended period, ranging from decades to centuries, and this will continue until God executes His final judgment and avenges the blood of the martyrs. The exact duration is not specified, but the passages convey a sense of God's people enduring a prolonged season of suffering and oppression at the hands of their enemies.

There are. The question is, how are they to be interpreted? The answer, through Jesus.....but how is that done? Through the knowledge of God's objective in Jesus.

Paul put it like this; 2 Corinthians 1:20
'For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.'

Unfortunately, In my view, popular theology has hijacked the objective and delivered mostly, a castrated gospel.
