I think he made it.
I hated his NWO stuff and things that brought narcissism out of him. But I did see him do things to separate from his life in the wrestling business.

I was all of 24 years old at the time of my conversion and had by then
experienced a number of brushes with death via disease, crime, accidents,
and just downright stupidity. Sometimes I get the shivers when I realize that
at any time during those 24 years I could've died and passed on to perdition.
But the Hulk delayed connecting with Christ till he was 70! That was really
pushing one's luck,
