Hello all!I apologize for making statements that kriss, Jag, Denver, and others that believe in the serpent seed teaching, have their preceptions colored by the Books of Enochs. I have made those assumptions since the Books of Enochs stated plainly of "fallen angels mixing with mankind in producing 'demons' " (if I recall the summary correctly) towards what they claim to be reading in the scriptures in regards to the descendents of Cain being a seed from Satan in according to the serpent seed teaching, thus I had assumed that they got those "viewing glasses" from those books.Putting aside those assumptions, I do not know how they are reading the scriptures in the way they are seeing it as in supporting this serpent seed teaching. Nor do I care. It is a false teaching; a fable for itching ears, matching those in Greek mythology and Norse mythology.Jesus Christ is the Gospel. He is the Good News to man. Anything else is a distraction. Learn of Him. He is the One you are having a relationship with as your Saviour and as your Good Shepherd. Learn of how He has made you His Friend and in how you can trust Him to live as His friend. Getting to know Him and the power of His resurrection.... learning to trust Him at His Word and to rest in Him and His promises to us... so that your joy may be full and your love may abound yet more and more in the knowledge of Him. Search the scriptures of the King James Bible.. for they testify of Jesus. Lean on the Lord to help you understand the scriptures and give you wisdom in seeking answers to hard questions, if you have any. Trust not in man nor christian web sites, because we all prophesy in part. Discern everything by the scriptures, trusting the Lord Jesus, Your Good Shepherd, to guide you into all truths. All faithful witnesses points you to Him to get to know Him through the scriptures and not through them, a link, a church, a famous preacher, or even me; the least of all the brethren. To get to know God.. go straight to Jesus. With that said, I bid farewell to this forum. Goodbye.

Pariah, while the KJV is the best English Bible, the English falls short of the Hebrew and Greek language.I will never use the book of Enoch to know truth, I rather stick with the authority of God... THE Word of God to know truth.Jag

[quote name='Denver;27091]Hey' date=' if you're going to lie about it, go elsewhere.QUOTE']Denver,With all due respect to you as Administrator of this forum, I think you've misunderstood Pariah's post. In the first paragraph she apologizes for her assumption that you (and the others) based your belief on the book of Enoch. She goes onto to say that she disagrees with your position & has no idea how you came up with it based on scripture and I get the distinct impression that's the reason she's chosen to leave - not because of a lie. Pariah, as do almost all. with the exception a very disturbed poster who has since been dismissed (thank you for that), seem to be after the same thing - the Truth about God. It's clear that we disagree about ALOT - but what we share is a love for Jesus Christ, our Savior and I sincerely hope that this forum continues to be a place where discussions about faith can be had, despite those disagreements. I enjoy this site and I thank you for running it. And I hope you will stay Pariah. I find your posts interesting, and even when you're critical of all that I hold dear, I know that you're doing it out of charity, because you believe you are right.May God bless us and give us His peace.

I accept your apology Pariah and respect your honestythere is no need to leave unless you feel led to do so we are all human and all have been in error If you want to know where we get this doctrine it is in the Hebrewand a deep understanding of Gods overall plan It does not effect the bottom line of ones belief in Christ as our saviorHow does this change anything except what you have always been told?Does it make God or Christ any less?Does it change that Christ died for our sins?It is simply the explanation for exactly how Satan attempted and failed to destroy the line our Savior would come through. God is wiser than the serpent. How does knowing how decietful Satan can be affect your belive in Christ?I do not think people really stop and think about we are saying they just react from their gut at something they have never heard without thinking it out.All we have ever said is that Satan has an continues to work to defeat Christ and he will fail Christ already has the victory all we disagree on is how Satan (and his Angels) rebelled against God. We both agree he did its the how.Again I ask how does the how of Satans rebellion affect you faith in any way
