You remember a little while ago, the Owner of the Stock Exchange, Nasdaq and Dow, brought the opening Bell to the Oval Office and the U.S Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said it was the First time the Stock Exchange was run from the White House ?
Now did he say "rung" or Run from? I'm pretty sure he said run from.

Can you imagine the NY stock exchange being run from NYC today?

I don't know why the term, Eminent domain comes to mind.

Eminent domain is the power of a government—federal, state, or local—to acquire private property for public purposes, such as roads, utilities, or government buildings, provided the owner receives just compensation as required by the Fifth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.

So would the US government have to give just compensation to Kuwait or Rockefeller to acquire the the property to say maybe build a Data Center?

What a pickle NYC has become. Pretty sour in my opinion.
