I may have heard some of her songs on the radio.

We sang that hymn at my mother-in-law's funeral. We sang it at my father-in-law's funeral. We sang it at my dad's funeral. Our organist played it (instrumental only at my request) at our son's funeral. I don't have the best memories of that song.

But if John MacArthur took the time to blast it in one of his books as being emblematic of what's wrong with the modern church, it can't be all bad.

Besides, Ms. Walker has a lovely voice.

There's nothing wrong with it. I can remember singing it as a child in the 1950s!

its ok. Not even sure who he is, But it would not matter, the song is beautiful. and should chear everyone up.. A god who walks and talks to us.
