Interesting....beggar invites a tourist to visit her home

Quite interesting. She lives in a tent slum. He visits with her family and sees a free school run by an Italian woman. Many slum children attend the large school and college will also be free of charge.

Now this is poverty and kudos for her not wanting her children to be beggars.

Yes, that's what I thought....those people are truly living in a slum. She is so happy her kids get the schooling and can go to college eventually.

The Italian guy who makes these videos does a good job.

I just posted another interesting one on New Delhi by him. The older man who peddles him around on something like a rickshaw works eight hours a day. And he just earns from a few dollars to maybe six or eight dollars a day. Of course, things are very cheap there.

My daughter had worked @ an authentic Mexican restaurant while in college @40 yrs old, (3 yrs ago) where many of the staff were illegal family members working. She was their friend and they told her the average pay in Mexico was $8 a day. That was why they were here illegally to support their families back home.

It is truly a shame how little the world cares for it's own, when in fact we know there are abundantly rich all around the world ! The love of money is an infectious root of evil.

When there is true need and we close our bowels of compassion we will reap what we sow !
