The acknowledgment that life had come before the invention of the technology of computer sciences
makes for a proper and well established logical statement, that establishes that simulation theory is placing a major disproportion of the context of simulation. The physical world is a playing field for will, perspective, and mid ground for the narrative of those wills being played out by many varying backgrounds and seamlessly indwelled diversity from as Paul the apostle had said about endless genealogies in:

1 Timothy verse 1:4

English Standard Version
nor to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies, which promote speculations rather than the stewardship from God that is by faith.

Berean Literal Bible
nor to give heed to myths and endless genealogies, which bring speculations rather than God's stewardship, which is in faith.\

King James Bible
Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.

New King James Version
nor give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which cause disputes rather than godly edification which is in faith.
Or a time immemorial to which although there may be some consisting themes of importance of the past, not all of what has been is of relevance as the world we live in today. As a civilization that existed before an extinction level event would hardly have any of the same attributes as much of the vegetation and wildlife would be extinguished including whole geneses of species of both. Vegetation and wildlife and other forms of biological life would be extinguished leaving us with a world that although has flourished from whatever catastrophe whether verified or being forensically researched shows that there seems to be an endless timeline here to which the consistency of these themes have culminated as what we refer to solidarity.

English Standard Version
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
Matthew 24:35

While some of the constructs of the earth as it had stood may be ten thousand years ago, twenty, fifty or over a million years ago have degenerated and collapsed, eroded, or simply have been in the process of change which if we look and when looked at the pantheon of mythos and mysticism revolving history and the rather frivolous statement that has been established by the department of psychology that most, if not all of otherworldly and seemingly extraordinary or impossible scenarios have not come upon the earth, that defy and challenge our sense of possibility of there being some truth to the fantastic world of mythos, legends, spirituality and established religions that have the ancient panorama of there being historical events and mysteries, to which the fantastic and unfathomable by our experience has left us asking questions about many things, and have been woven into pop culture, or popular culture as being these themes of being tradition but to us; the reason for the tradition appears as a mystery of surface face value symbolism that while shallow represent rich stores of history
both geologically, ecologically and the included subject of biology, of both human origins, and that which is not.
We have quite the ability to guide this simulation if it were true.
I think the standard verse of genesis acclimates the proper context and proportion.
Genesis 1:28

And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Genesis 1:28
is known as the cultural mandate. It's the original call to stewardship

New King James Version
Then the LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.
Genesis 2:15

3When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers,
The moon and the stars, which You have ordained,
4What is man that You are mindful of him,
And the son of man that You visit[c] him?
5For You have made him a little lower than [d]the angels,
And You have crowned him with glory and honor.
6You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands;
You have put all things under his feet,
7All sheep and oxen"
Even the beasts of the field,
8The birds of the air,
And the fish of the sea
That pass through the paths of the seas.
9O LORD, our Lord,
How excellent is Your name in all the earth!
Psalm 8:3-9

While creation itself does have the aspects of a system. What would we consider of any form of organization that didn’t?
Is simulation theory an example of life imitating art in some sense?
Or possibly a schismatic cultural devolution due to over emphasis on the pursuit of technology being able to ultimately replace truth, life, culture, meaning, ethics, and nature.
Simulation theory being the logic of the cultural degradation as to make the shift of perspective as an affirmation of atheism. Rather than meaning being defined in a theological statement that edifies importance to human life or otherwise.
We are detracting meaning from life by taking the understanding that an art form or technology came before life,
the altruistic principles found in most true religions and The Holy Bible
should never be thrown out due to math and sciences, and math and sciences shouldn’t be thrown out either,
the intuitive pragmatic inclination of there being greater truth or meaning to our lives having in fact an objective importance that reaches from the physical to the mystery of eternity, spirituality inherently being an aspect and the greater theme of intelligent design, higher order and Divinity held in the solidarity that has always been consistent in the theme of Good and Evil.

27Pure and undefiled religion before our God and Father is this: to care for orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
James 1:27

The Theological view of the world and history still being very much valid and relevant yet psychology still having its rights to infer the subjective effects of the physical world or perhaps the supernatural, or the paranormal which is used to refer to unusual unexplained phenomena.
Man’s view of reality has gone awry due to convention and lack of maturity.
I suppose Nikola Tesla's quote is an appropriate statement for what is happening philosophically in the world

"Today's scientists have substituted mathematics for experiments, and they wander off through equation after equation, and eventually build a structure which has no relation to reality. "
- Nikola Tesla -

A critical philosophical statement about Nikola Tesla’s contemporaries that when viewed through answers through Quora or other responses by people who state they have a background or doctorate degree.

Ph. D. from The University of Connecticut

“No, he was completely wrong, in two different respects. First, experimental science, physics in particular, flourished in those years, so he could not have been more wrong to imply it was somehow being diminished. Look at the advances by the Curies, Rutherford, Millikan, etc., etc. Secondly, the theoretical developments of that era were the foundation for decades of technological progress, like the applications of quantum mechanics to solid state electronics and lasers, as just a couple of obvious examples. Finally, I will mention Poincare’s work on the three-body problem that produced classical chaos theory. While to someone like Tesla, who was an outstanding engineer, it might have looked like recreational mathematics, (as M-theory and the like appear to be to many critics now, and I realize those critics may turn out to be right), but once adequate computers became available, the insights from that theory became very important. Tesla failed to grasp the fact that ideas have often been ahead of their time in the sense of having no practical value until decades later. Einstein supplied the essential theory for the laser in the earliest days of quantum physics, but it wasn’t until decades later that the first one was invented. There are many other examples showing that Tesla failed to consider the possibilities that such abstract work would very much relate to reality in what was then the future.”

On the other side of this argument we see that there are major implications for the use of these technologies but still, management, responsibility, ethics, have been under the influence of rhetoric and lobbying who have made for expediency rather than adherence, and have convoluted proper use of.

To bring in criminality I won’t, since we know there is corruption amongst the spiritual, physical, and intellectual landscape, and for a lack of a better word there is still no reason to debate the values of solidarity that are from everlasting to everlasting found in The Holy Bible and other religious and spiritual texts. Since God is true, and God is good. Interrelating both moral matters of preeminence
and science which the atheist to the simulation theory movement seemingly want to change our view of God, self identity, and world view, which if we do not do anything about, deciding truth that is preliminary to technology will make itself apparent.
And we can be thankful that He has encoded this into our very beings, and the use of power, as discernment and judgement unfolds to who will claim the responsibility.

Of course, it would take more than a few pages of some culminated pragmatic discussion on refuting simulation theory as it is a new concept in a varying wave of concepts that are leading to transhumanism gnostic discourse as objective morality makes itself apparent of being one of the major sources of interrelational aspects of life, reality, existence. That although Christianity and its fiasco of false pundits, proponents, and deceivers, there are those found in every institute and category of subject.

King James Bible
Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.
Acts 20:30

Here are some excerpts from a good article found on the Catholic news agency website

The faith confronting Neo-Pelagianism and Neo-Gnosticism

By Bishop Arthur Serratelli

Pope Francis detects traces of this type of thinking in those people today who act as if salvation depends on human strength or on merely human means. The Pope sees this error in those who would reduce the gospel to a social ideology, make spirituality simply a process of self-awareness or reduce the life of faith to a vestige of an outdated past.

Gnosticism is more difficult to define than Pelagianism. It embraces many schools of thought. But, all of them hold in common the one tenet that the created, material world is evil. Only the spiritual is good. Redemption comes from being liberated from matter by elite forms of knowledge (gnosis).

The Pope has spoken of neo-Gnosticism as "a purely subjective faith whose only interest is a certain experience or a set of ideas and bits of information which are meant to console and enlighten, but which ultimately keep one imprisoned in his or her own thoughts and feelings" (Evangelii Gaudium, 94). Pope Francis sees neo-Gnosticsim "in elite groups offering a higher spirituality, generally disembodied, which ends up in a preoccupation with certain pastoral "quaestiones disputatae" ("Address to the Leadership of the Episcopal Conferences of Latin America during the General Coordination Meeting").

As created by God, we are made for more than this world can offer. Each of us seeks those things that will make us happy. Health. Wealth. Inner peace. Freedom from suffering and, ultimately, death. Yet, when some live as radically autonomous individuals able to obtain their own happiness, they succumb to a new form of Pelagianism. Nonetheless, "the total salvation of the person does not consist of the things that the human person can obtain by himself, such as possessions, material well-being, knowledge or abilities, power or influence on others, good reputation or self-satisfaction" (Placuit Deo, 6 ).

Salvation does not come about from individual efforts but through Christ, who reveals himself in the Church. Christ is not simply an exemplar to follow. He is not merely a wise teacher. No! He is the Savior of all. "According to the Gospel, salvation for all people begins with welcoming Jesus: 'Today salvation has come to this house' (Lk 19:9). The good news of salvation has a name and a face: Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior" (Placuit Deo, 8 ).

Faith widens our horizon. It makes us see our relationship to God and to others. It helps us reject all claims of self-realization. We do not save ourselves. Salvation is a gift given by God in Christ. "Salvation consists in our union with Christ, who, by his Incarnation, Death and Resurrection, has brought about a new kind of relationship with the Father…" (Placuit Deo, 4). "Being a Christian is not the result of an ethical choice or a lofty idea, but the encounter with an event, a person, which gives life a new horizon and a decisive direction" (Pope Benedict XVI, Deus caritas est, 1, Dec. 25, 2005).

In neo-Pelagianism, Jesus is only an exemplar who inspires us. But, he is more. He is the Son of God made man and we are made one with him through Baptism.

The Placuit Deo insists on the importance of the Sacraments. They allow us to walk with Jesus. Those who do not receive the sacraments truly succumb to a Pelagian attitude. They reject the grace that is needed to heal us in the field hospital that is the Church.

Salvation does not come apart from Christ nor does it come apart from the created world, as all forms of Gnosticism hold. The world is good. God created all that is. Evil entered the world when man turned from God. Salvation in Christ touches our entire being, body and soul.

Gnosticism looks upon the body as a mere instrument of the mind. This leads to seeing the body as an object, something to be manipulated by man. It separates the body from the provident hand of God who orders all creation according to his wise disposition. This attitude of seeing the body as not essential to the person has poisoned our culture. It has led to the acceptance of abortion, euthanasia, free sex and same-sex marriages. In contrast, our faith teaches that spirit and body are unified.

Unlike any form of neo-Gnosticism, Catholicism firmly teaches that the body is important. Christ's graces fills our souls and affects our bodies. Our bodies become the very temples of the Holy Spirit. Salvation is not merely an interior reality. By grace, we are incorporated into the Church, a visible community. This certainly goes against all those neo-Gnostics who distance themselves from the visible Church by claiming that they are "spiritual, but not religious." "In the Church, we touch the flesh of Jesus, especially in our poorest and most suffering brothers and sisters… salvation consists in being incorporated into a communion of persons that participates in the communion of the Trinity" (Placuit Deo, 12).

In a time when confusion surrounds basic tenets of Catholicism, Placuit Deo, an insightful and balanced letter from the Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith, sheds much light on the truths of the Faith. It reminds us that salvation is a gratuitous gift given by God in Christ. It recalls the centrality of Christ. By assuming our humanity and sacrificing himself for our sin, Jesus became the one mediator for all the sons and daughters of Adam. By his grace, he joins us to his Body, the Church, giving us a share in the divine life now and in eternity.

Seems to be another distraction from the place of God, Man, and Devil as three distinct entities and wills that are not the same.

23But Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to Me. For you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men.”
Matthew 16:23

8But Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.’”
Luke 4:8

New King James Version
They said to Him, “Caesar’s.” And He said to them, “Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”
Matthew 22:21

Berean Standard Bible
Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

New King James Version
And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
John 8:32
