Here in Missouri Amendment 3, that Prohibits Abortion and Gender Transition Procedures for Minors. Amendment 3, is on the ballot in Missouri as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment on November 3, 2026.
Plain English.....it stops abortion as a form of birth control. What it does not do.....It does not prevent abortion if a doctor determines that the mother's life is threatened by the pregnancy or in the case of rape.
But the left are running adds on TV and radio that says Amendment 3 prevents basic medical care for women.
One AD had a woman that had an abortion for supposed medical reasons, saying if Amendment 3 were passed people like her could die.
The left is running ADs that say that thousands and thousands could lose their Medicare and Medicaid coverage.
The truth is, preventing fraudulent use of Medicare and Medicaid and removing illegal aliens. That is the thousands and thousands that will lose their coverage which is a good thing.
Removing thousands of fraudsters and dead people off of welfare systems and Social Security.
