Is the above proof that Jesus is G_d

We read in John 5:19 “the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing.” Jesus repeated that in several different ways. “I can do nothing on my own. As I hear, I judge… because I seek not my own will but the will of him who sent me” (John 5:30). “My teaching is not mine, but his who sent me” (John 7:16). “I do nothing on my own authority, but speak just as the Father taught me” (John 8:28). “For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has himself given me a commandment—what to say and what to speak” (John 12:49).

I like to use Matthew 1:23 (RSV):

"Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a son,​

and his name shall be called Emmanuel"​

(which means, God with us).​

I thought I'd ask about this because I don't think I've ever seen G-d in print.

I've always seen it printed out as God. Is G-d an abbreviation for something?

Precious friend, on another forum a superstitious one 'explained' that they are afraid of condemnation
for pronouncing "His Name" incorrectly, so they omit the middle letter to avoid that ......... ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑
