Is there a thin line between love and hate?

I have a question that I would like everybody to weigh in on. Jesus loves everyone from the day they are born but still some people don't cherish that and have hate in their hearts. Why????

Even the children of Israel who were special and chosen didn't always cherish what they had in God.

Jeremiah 17:9-10
The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure.
Who can understand it? “I the Lord search the heart
and examine the mind, to reward each person according
to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.”

Only God truly knows why some men hate and others love why some men accept Him and others reject Him.

I think John was unto something here:

1Jn 4:20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
1Jn 4:21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

So, do you truly love the brothers and sisters you interact with every day?

Something to think about, yes?
