How does sanctification come about? Is it a process we battle our way into, or a gift of grace received by faith as we ask, seek, and knock to enter into God's eternal kingdom? Is it something we are to strive for by human effort, or is it something miraculous that we appropriate as we enter into Christ to walk in His power and the grace of His resurrection life? In truth, we can only ever attain the full stature of Christ by maturing in His holiness. We can never have a holiness of our own.
