2 Chron 1:11-12
11 And God said to Solomon, Because this was in thine heart, and thou hast not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of thine enemies, neither yet hast asked long life; but hast asked wisdom and knowledge for thyself, that thou mayest judge my people, over whom I have made thee king:
12 Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto thee; and I will give thee riches, and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before thee, neither shall there any after thee have the like.
KJV

Likewise, a true man of God should be seeking God to instill His Wisdom in him first and foremost. Search for the spiritual riches and God will supply the physical riches so that we lack no good thing as our soul prospers to a state of knowing what riches are for.
Matt 6:33
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
KJV

Our Father owns this entire earth and all that is in it and can give it to whom so ever He chooses even the people(ruling and reigning). Ungodly man may have possession of our Father's goods illegally as in STOLEN GOODS, but they are really for HIS CHILDREN, not for the tares which is of the devil's seed.
Don't be afraid to take the promised land where the giants(of the industry, bullies, larger than life) SEEMED to be too large and powerful for us to take from... Because God is with us and said it is ours just for taking Him..AT HIS WORD aka Christ.

Having money and riches is not a sin. Love of money and riches is the sin. Someone once told me that in the Old Testament, the tithe to God is 10%, but in the New Testament, it's much worse......because Christ says to give up everything. Compared to that, I think the 10% tithing is beginning to sound more appealing.

You can own a lot of things but the more of them you have the more likely it is that those things will own you.

Being rich is not evil if we put God first where He belongs. You have little money and it still can come before God and you are guilty while a rich man can serve God and have money and is not guilty.

Those who were condemned because of wealth were not condemned because they had it, but because they did not share it. They did not allow God to bless others through them, but kept God's blessings for themselves. The parable of the Rich Fool in Luke 12: 16-21 is an example. His harvest was far more than he needed, but instead of sharing the excess with others so all could rejoice in God's blessings on the land, he built bigger barns to keep it for himself.

Agreed! it is the LOVE of money that is the issue. We are tested in this to see what will we forsake Christ for.... will we forsake the Word to gain riches by corruption? love? poverty? fame? power? persecution?
Do you know why God says sell all you have a give to the poor? Because all the things that we have have been gained in the system of corruption being the ways of the devil and we must be will to part with it without hesitation.... Not because God wants us to be beggars or have to steal to survive, but to show God that like the widow's mite we have now put our trust in our Father as provider for His children and family and so that the devil can not claim he made us rich. God will restore more than what you had as you step out in faith to give it your all. I do not believe that you have to sell everything at one time, I believe it means little by little turn it into funds for the poor saints in need or the spiritual meals from your pastor for the Word to go forth and build up your heavenly account. 1Corin.16:1-3 tells us to lay aside each week an amount in keeping with our income that God has given us to put in the collection plate come Saturday Evening(upon the 1st day of the week that begins at sundown on the Jewish calendar)And is still the 7th day till midnight on our calendar day.
