Hamas Issues Islamic Call For Genocide on PA Television by Ezra HaLevi(IsraelNN.com) While Hamas has sought, since its Mecca Agreement with Fatah, to strike a moderate tone in order to renew international funding, it continues the calls for genocide of Jews. In a recent sermon on PA TV, Hamas spokesman Dr. Ismail Radwan reiterated Hamas’s classic ideology that: * The Hour – the Islamic resurrection and end of days – is dependent on the killing of Jews by Muslims. * The remaining Jews will unsuccessfully attempt to hide, but the rocks and trees will expose them, calling out "there is a Jew behind me, kill him!" * "Palestine… will be liberated through the rifle," meaning that Israel will be destroyed through violence. The Hamas spokesman ended his sermon with a prayer to Allah to "take" Israel and the USA. The following is the full text of the Hamas spokesman's call for genocide of Jews, translated by Palestinian Media Watch: Hamas spokesman, Dr. Ismail Radwan (PA TV, March 30, 2007): “The Hour [Resurrection] will not take place until the Muslims fight the Jews and the Muslims kill them, and the rock and the tree will say: ‘Oh, Muslim, servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, kill him!’ “We must remind our Arab and Muslim nation, its leaders and people, its scholars and students, remind them that Palestine and the Al Aqsa mosque will not be liberated through summits nor by international resolutions, but it will be liberated through the rifle. It will not be liberated through negotiations, but through the rifle, since this occupation knows no language but the language of force… “O Allah, strengthen Islam and Muslims, and bring victory to your Jihad-fighting worshipers, in Palestine and everywhere… Allah take the oppressor Jews and Americans and their supporters!”

It always confounds me that Muslims claim Islam is a religion of peace. When their leaders make these kind of calls.

I am only recently interested in what is going on over there, and it's history. This is absolutely amazing, they think that they can bring the Messiah through their own actions... am I correct in assuming that? They don't really believe that Jesus is the Messiah, and that there is one yet to come? And as for the fighting, this has been going on for centuries correct? What is the root cause? Did they give up their promised land or something, and now they want it back? Or is it that Israel is inhabiting Palestinian Land, as their promised land? I have had a calm discussion with a Muslim, and from what I gathered, they are peaceful enough, they feel that Jesus was a Prophet but not the son of God, the Old Testament is their Bible, thus the Ten Commandments are their law. The thing is, apparently, there are Extremist who interpret things differently, just like in anything. It is a shame that they cannot see that their Messiah has already come and gone...

Well I need not remind you there are Christians out there - through decidely less violent means - who think they can do the same. I think it's laughable that anyone believes that they can speed up God. It's all the more tragic when it preaches nothing but hate like this does. They really should stick to the negotiations though. The UN has given them everything but the kitchen sink. Heck, our tax dollars go to funding some of this. The thing is, Iran's leaders think the same way. There are peaceful Muslims out there sure, but one has to question how much of a minority of so called extremists there is out there. It seems like this level of hate is popping up in regimes all across the area. In some instances, such as this one, they are even democratically elected which requires a majority vote.
And as for the fighting, this has been going on for centuries correct? What is the root cause? Did they give up their promised land or something, and now they want it back? Or is it that Israel is inhabiting Palestinian Land, as their promised land?
Arguably so. This conflict spans back ages and it goes farther back than 1948 although statehood of Israel is what they all call against. Arabs in general have a very different idea of unity than we do. I would say it's stronger than our own kinship with Great Britain.

They believe their messiah called the twelfth Iman is coming to convert the entire world to Islam, They believe this must happen during a time of chaos in the world. So they think they must bring on/encouage this state of chaos.They believe Jesus christ was a prophet that will bow down and join the Iman in declaring Islam the true religion. They also believe that the inheritance was given to Ishmael not Issac as our bible says. They claim that Jerusalem belongs to them not the Jews as God says. the leader of Iran believes he is the choosen one to bring on this Jihad(holy war) and create the chaos that will bring the on the end times:What is true Islam? It depends on who you ask.Islam is a peaceful religion. Islam is a bloody religion. Jihad is an inner struggle to be a good person. Jihad is a holy war against the infidel. Muslims are pluralistic and tolerant. Muslims want to take over the world. What makes the debate so confusing is that all these ideas are both true and false.

Something to look into I suppose. Pretty scary stuff, seems like I have alot to learn, I should have payed more attention, now that I am 33 I finally get curious about what is going on. Becoming a Christian made me aware of things outside of "self".
