Thanks for that video. They don't want to be called Christians, and I can understand why---- it has become so Gentilized with many "nominal Christians" who are not really born again. But they do identify in and believe in Jesus, and I always thought that Messianic Christians have a very biblcal form of worship with less traditions of men and other Gentile additions to it. For example, I would imagine they probably celebrate the Jewish feast days over holidays such as Christmas and other add-ons. In other words, I always believed that the church should have adopted more of the Jewish ways and mannerisms since they all come from the same Scripture. Please don't confuse what I am saying with legalism, however. As for the rest of the Jews that are so violently opposed to it, this is what Jeremiah prophesied in chapter 19 about the broken vessel. A broken vessel is unusable unlike the marred clay in chapter 18 which is still workable. The marred clay represented the house of Israel when one day God would work with the lost 10 tribes of Israel and they'd be His witnesses. The Jews on the other hand were compared to a broken vessel which indicated they would not be used for the gospel. Going by that alone, I have to praise God that he still decided to save a few of the Jews to give him glory along with the Israelites. And Jews have a connection with their identity which makes for a special connection between the OT and NT. The Israelites, on the other hand became Gentiles with the rest of the world, and that is why the Judaic influence in Christianity is lost---- they forgot their identity and roots.
