Isaiah 2:1-31This is what Isaiah son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem:

2In the last days

the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established

as the highest of the mountains;

it will be exalted above the hills,

and all nations will stream to it.

3Many peoples will come and say,

“Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,

to the temple of the God of Jacob.

He will teach us his ways,

so that we may walk in his paths.”

Indeed, there is a growing “Temple Movement” in Israel today with thousands of Jews working to rebuild the Temple. According to a poll taken last year in a leading newspaper Ha’aretz, one third of Israelis believe that Israel should erect the Temple on the Temple Mount.==And so it will be soon.

 

[Desire Of All Nations]

Any temple that the Jews build right now will not have God's authorization or support, and therefore it will be their temple, not His. The only physical temple God will have commissioned to be built for Him in this period of time is the Eze. 40 temple, and that won't exist until the Millennium.

The temple institute has existed for decades now, but they can't rebuild the temple in its original location while the Al Asqa mosque is still standing. The dome of the rock is one of the most holy sites in Islam and I think that the rock under the dome was the threshing floor of aruana, which David purchased as the site for the temple.
