Prevalence Of Wickedness: Micah Seven:1-6, God's Goodness To His People 7-20

Israel's Great Misery

1Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer fruits, as the grapegleanings of the vintage: there is no cluster to eat: my soul desired the firstripe fruit.

2The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.

3That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up.

4The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity.

5Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.

6For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man's enemies are the men of his own house.

Israel Looks to the Lord

7Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.

8Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me.

9I will bear the indignation of the LORD, because I have sinned against him, until he plead my cause, and execute judgment for me: he will bring me forth to the light, and I shall behold his righteousness.

10Then she that is mine enemy shall see it, and shame shall cover her which said unto me, Where is the LORD thy God? mine eyes shall behold her: now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets.

11In the day that thy walls are to be built, in that day shall the decree be far removed.

12In that day also he shall come even to thee from Assyria, and from the fortified cities, and from the fortress even to the river, and from sea to sea, and from mountain to mountain.

13Notwithstanding the land shall be desolate because of them that dwell therein, for the fruit of their doings.

God's Compassion on Israel

14Feed thy people with thy rod, the flock of thine heritage, which dwell solitarily in the wood, in the midst of Carmel: let them feed in Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.

15According to the days of thy coming out of the land of Egypt will I shew unto him marvellous things.

16The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might: they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf.

17They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be afraid of the LORD our God, and shall fear because of thee.

18Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.

19He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

20Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.

Love always, Walter and Debbie

The general prevalence of wickedness. The prophet bemoans himself that he lived among a people ripening apace for ruin, in which many good persons would suffer. Men had no comfort, no satisfaction in their own families or in their nearest relations. Contempt and violation of domestic duties are a sad symptom of universal corruption.

MICAH Seven - MATTHEW HENRY'S CONCISE COMMENTARY:
The general prevalence of wickedness.

The prophet bemoans himself that he lived among a people ripening apace for ruin, in which many good persons would suffer. Men had no comfort, no satisfaction in their own families or in their nearest relations. Contempt and violation of domestic duties are a sad symptom of universal corruption. Those are never likely to come to good who are undutiful to their parents. The prophet saw no safety or comfort but in looking to the Lord, and waiting on God his salvation. When under

trials, we should look continually to our Divine Redeemer, that we may have strength and grace to trust in him, and to be examples to those around us. (Mic 7:8-13)

Love, Walter

I believe we are in the early days of God fulfilling His promise to wake up the House Of Israel during the last days. I fully believe that this House is mostly found in the West and that much of today's church is descended from them. God made these promises to the House of Israel 2,800 years ago. I believe that the prophet Hosea is the prophet to the House Of Israel.
After looking online for anyone who was woken up by the Lord, I found a woman who was. She said that a man came to her in a dream and told her that her father was from the tribe of Judah. At the time she knew nothing about God, Jesus, the bible, or spirituality. She was Japanese.
So I got thinking that I knew of a Jew and a Levite whom God had woken up. This didn't sound too lost to me. Before I knew it, I was listening to the only sane source of lost 10 tribes knowledge I know of. I just started watching something and the guy says that God will wake up the Levites first.
Whenever I need some knowledge regarding this issue, I lift my little finger and it's there. This is God. In His time.
I believe that the Body Of Christ, Israel, and the Bride Of Christ together is the Congregation of God. I see the Bride of Christ as those who wash their robes in the Blood Of The Lamb. I do not believe that the church replaces Israel, instead, she is to take her place alongside Israel, of which she is a part.
When Jesus was teaching in Israel, many of the religious leaders felt threatened by Him. They thought He was trying to take their religion and position away from them. When in fact He came to fulfill all righteousness. He was the fulfillment of what their prophets had proclaimed. I can see the church in general feeling threatened in the same way by this 10 Tribe issue. I also know that some Messianic groups feeling threatened by the church. Things like the inquisition are at the root of this.
Orthodox Jews talk about Jesus being Italian and living at the Vatican. That He was the Catholic God. I've heard several times that they think the New Testament is full of ways to torture Jews. When I first heard this, I laughed. Then I realized they were serious.
I am starting to see that the job of Levites today is to ease these fears and under the direct Hand of God, bring unity between the Body of Christ, the Messianic believers of Israel, and the 144,000, for whom God has a special purpose. This purpose, I believe has to do with the New Jerusalem. Jesus The Christ, Yeshua HaMashiach, The King Of Kings And Lord Of Lords, Almighty God, The Lamb Who Was Slain And Is, the Author and Finisher of our faith and my best friend, is worthy to receive us as His unified people. Amen and amen.
