LOL. If that passage is not referring to the glorious return of Jesus then no passage does. I can't take you seriously when you can't even recognize that 2 Thess 1:6-10 is about the return of Jesus.
I can't take anything you say seriously, if you can't differentiate between the Lord coming in fire and His Returning in glory.
Over 70 Prophesies tell of the forthcoming Day when the Lord will send His fiery wrath to punish the ungodly. Amos 1 & 2:1-5, +

At the glorious Return; Jesus only kills the army of Satan. He doesn't use fire then. Revelation 19:17-21

You make the common error of mixing up the 2 separate Days that the Lord will take action on earth. The Lords terrible Day of fiery wrath, the Sixth Seal worldwide disaster, will happen years before the Return and the great Day of the Lord Almighty, will come at the Seventh Bowl. Revelation 16:16-18

Scripture does not differentiate between those two things as if they were two separate events. When He comes, He will come in fire and in glory. Trying to say Him coming in fire and returning in glory are two different events is the kind of thing people come up with when they need to twist scripture to fit their convoluted beliefs.

2 Thessalonians 1:6 God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you 7 and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels. 8 He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9 They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might 10 on the day he comes to be glorified in his holy people and to be marveled at among all those who have believed. This includes you, because you believed our testimony to you.

This passage proves that He will return with fire and in glory at the same time. Passages like this must not be in your Bible. Or you just ignore it if it is there.

This idea is wrong, proved by how 'fire', is not mentioned at the glorious Return. Revelation 19:11-21
Jesus merely destroys the armies at Armageddon by the Sword of His Word and the corpses become food for the carnivores.
Also 2 Thess 1:10 makes it clear that Jesus is only revealed to His own people. Not to every eye, as Rev 1:7 says will be the case at the Return.

This false belief leave people clueless about the forthcoming Day when the Lord really will send fire to make the ungodly peoples as ashes under our feet. Malachi 4:1-3
