The God, who is with us, is not a messianic name, and happens to be the advent of the gospel. I disagree that it has to be a human being, and secondly, it is an event misinterpreted by the ECFs among other things.
You'd have to show that GOD WITH US was prophesied already in the OT.
Which it was.
Ezekiel said that GOD HIMSELF would come to shepherd His people.
Jesus called Himself the Good Shepherd....

IMMANUEL is a title.
It means GOD WITH US.
God stated that He Himself would shepherd His people.
Ezekiel 34:11-12
11 For thus says the Lord GOD, "Behold, I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out.
12 "As a shepherd cares for his herd in the day when he is among his scattered sheep, so I will care for My sheep and will deliver them from all the places to which they were scattered on a cloudy and gloomy day.

Ezekiel 34:17
17 "As for you, My flock, thus says the Lord GOD, 'Behold, I will judge between one sheep and another, between the rams and the male goats.
Seems to match up with:
Matthew 25:31-32
31 "But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne.

The LORD also speaks of his own shepherd as he speaks of the same here
